If you multi table more than 9 tables how do you have them laid out on your screen? I imagine you can't see all the tables at once correct? So you can't really get a read on the other players right? So you just play the percentages and the odds?

Well as to how many tables you can layout and still be able to see them all I suppose it depends on how big your monitor(s) is and how many monitors you have.

Also just because you have some overlap or complete overlap even for some tables doesn't mean you can't get reads on players. Also have a tool like Poker Tracker or Holdem Manager and running a HUD helps with this.

For what it's worth a couple of the best middle stake players out there, Nanonoko and Gregyxxxxx (the x's are some numbers) often play 16 to 24 tables and evidently they are still getting very good reads on players. Nanonoko just crushes middle stakes. Gregy was likely the best 200NL player on Stars and crushed it and is now doing very well at middle stakes.

For multi-tabling more than 9 tables, the best advice I can give is to test out some custom layouts on stars (resizing and moving tables yourself) and just save the layouts. Play with several different ones until you're comfortable with a certain layout.

As far as reads. Honestly, as soon as you start playing any amount of tables where you're simultaneously playing 2+ hands at a time, your reading abilities will lower. The general amount of tables a player will play at to get the most out of reads and highest bb/100 is generally 4. Some players claim to know just as much about villains at up to 8 tables, but it's hard to believe.

Multitabling over 16 tables is usually the most $$/h etc with rakeback and the like, but definitely won't do the most to improve your game!

I am going to try to multi table 12-16 tables at the micro limits so I guess I will just try different layouts. I'm curious to see if I can do this and still make a profit or how muich of a profit I can make compared to playing 5 tables at once.
