For multi-tabling more than 9 tables, the best advice I can give is to test out some custom layouts on stars (resizing and moving tables yourself) and just save the layouts. Play with several different ones until you're comfortable with a certain layout.
As far as reads. Honestly, as soon as you start playing any amount of tables where you're simultaneously playing 2+ hands at a time, your reading abilities will lower. The general amount of tables a player will play at to get the most out of reads and highest bb/100 is generally 4. Some players claim to know just as much about villains at up to 8 tables, but it's hard to believe.
Multitabling over 16 tables is usually the most $$/h etc with rakeback and the like, but definitely won't do the most to improve your game!
