Hey guys. Is there anyone playing poker using multi screen? How does it work actually. Are there 2 desktop on the 2 screen or just one? meaning if i play poker at one screen and watch youtube on the other, would it be possible? Lastly, would it be better to play on 2 screen or 1 big screen? thanks for the response.

the desktop is just extended across the two monitors, so you can drag windows between the two screens.

Yes it is possible to play on one screen and watch videos etc on the other.

I think multi screen would be better if you are planning to play multiple tables, one big screen will still have around the same resolution as a smaller one so you can't add that many more tables, however two screens you can get a lot more tables open

If your going to multi-table two screens wouldn't be such a bad idea. Open more tables, and you can watch some videos, e-mail firends, etc. on the other desktop.

Lots of people play on multiple screens. If you play more than 4 tables, then I would definitely recommend it. I use 2 screens for a lot of things; music production, website development or just chatting while surfing. Or surfing while playing poker (bad habit).

If you don't need 2 screens for anything else, and play 6 tables max, then I would just go with one 24".

I use two 20" 1600x1200 monitors - each a very cheap set up for the most screen real estate.

I tend to multi-table on the main screen and use the side screen for the site lobby, tracking software app, table selection, music player etc...

I have two 22" Acers with 1680x1050 resolution...I tend to play all my tables on one screen and have whatever else I need on the other. I couldn't live without two displays on my desktop even if I'm not playing poker.

make sure you look at resolution, with monitopr sizes, it gets to a point where the resolution is the same the larger you go, meaning that the larger you go doesnt necessarily mean more stuff on the screen (things will just get bigger), and thats why i recommend getting 2 smaller screens.

Like previous responders I would agree that having two screens is great for a host of things beyond just multi-tabling online poker. Specifically regarding online poker I found that when I tried using two screens and tiling (no overlap) across both monitors I seemed to have a bit harder time focusing since I was constantly shifting my sight across both monitors. It seems easier to me to keep my visual focus on one monitor and cascade or stack my tables when 12 or 16+ tabling.

As another poster stated, having the second monitor is great for the client lobby, music app, notepad, chat client, etc.
