My stats are 20/15 and was wondering if nothing is going well playing at these stats and would be fine going tighter as in playing 16/12 kinda thing or even 12/9?

Would this be going to more fishier stats being expoited because i'd be too predictable?

Depending what and where you play. Will be hard to make any money higher 10NL at stars with 16/12. Everyone will run you over.

Oh yea sorry, I'm talking about the 2nl and 5nl stakes. Yea I can see what you mean with the stats like that tight at higher stakes.

Playing very nitty at the micros wouldn't be much of a problem since most players don't even realize these things?

People say Tight is Right at micros. I played 30/28 at both 2Nl and 5NL and my winrate was twice higher than that of my TAG game. But yes, if you just started, play as tight as possible. If your current game isnt working, tighten up. I would say until 10NL people will not exploit you too much. Even 10Nl is still beatable with something like 17/14 (for very low winrate).

so my stats were TAG style so I went the other way instead. I tried what you were playing and that seems to work out better than where I've came from. I played very cautiously though, being carefull what spots i picked. things were good. I was thinking from the beginning maybe I can't play too much hands because I'm not good at playing a wide range of cards but it seems more sense to play more of a wider range. idky but it does. if my range was super tight like what i said maybe playing a 12/9 or soemthing where does the skill come into that. would be boring as hell i'd say. but playing LAG seems more enjoyable and makes poker a little fun. I think I'll stick it out playing a LAG game for a bit to see if it continues to work.
