So this is a question for the regular players at the 100 or higher limit.

Here is the problem i have been facing for the past 4-5 months.

Im a good player, profitable on all sites and all names ive used, yet not the best like hokiegreg or moumouth, bc my money management sucks.

I try to set limits for daily losses/wins, and usually stick to it until i get a day where i tilt all my winnings away for that week.

I was wondering if the regualrs have any strategies they use, such as when to stop playing if winning or losing too much. A big part of my problem is this. I do work a full time job, 40+ hours mon-fri so playing a lot during the week is tough considering the travel is 3 hrs daily and i am usually worn out and not in the best poker mindset when i finally sit and play. The people i live with and play with can play whenever they want, which gets to me at times, and currently are winning alot which is awesome cause i reep the benefits. (except my man thepabloshow, once he gets out of his slump watch out).

what im asking is if anyone others have this situation and still play winning poker, if they got advice. i know there is variance and everything else with poker, but the winning players usually win more than not so there has to be a way.

Im not trying to take your style or try to be a copycat, but it sucks when i play good poker, make my money, then lose it all back in one sitting.

Any suggestions or personal experience will and can help.

Go Duke!

if you are playing within your BR (25-30 BIs) for cash and you can lose it all in one sitting you have some major tilt issues. once you lose 3-4 BIs you should take a break as you are probably not playing your A game. start up again after you have cleared your head and gotten over the previous session

You should buy "Elements of Poker" by Tommy Angelo. All the answer about the right set of mind are in there. Awesome book!!
