Is it actually beatable?

I cant seem to find anyone that has beaten it?

It's umpossible.

Ye it's definitely beatable. The short-stacks in general are the easiest to stack. I've seen players calling their whole stacks with TPBottomK. Just don't try to be too extravagent with your river bluffs. There are lots of players who are calling big bets light. Be patient and then take the fish to value-town!

I am really struggling with it. What is the optimum play at this level, completely nit it up?

I've played roughly 20k hands this week (sample size) and i'm yo-yo-ing all over the place, this is 5nl - I thought a brain dead monkey could beat that level?!

Also - does PTR track Rush?

Ye PTR tracks rush. I've played 5NL rush too. Like I said, don't be fooled into thinking you can bluff people all over the place like the magazines suggest. They are referring to higher stakes than 5NL where players will be more willing to lay down marginal hands more often. Down in the slums you still have to be patient with your post-flop play, and value-bet the donks hard when you pummel the board. You can definately steal more PF though! I reckon you could make a decent winrate by timing your position 3-bets and your blind steals well, then make a killing when you have premium hands.

You get sucked out on a lot at this level.

Tell me about it. I cant seem to log into PRT - but I wanted to check the leaderboard for 5NL rush....see if it is true that anyone wins at it!

No they don't. No observation = no HHs.

And yes, I'd say Rush is somewhat tougher than normal games at the same stakes with good table selection, but beatable regardless.
