My win rate in most other positions is OK other than CO at 2NL. That's surprised me as well, so I'll need to spend a bit of time going through those.

I had a quick look through some specific hands from SB last night. The hand I won the most on was at 2NL and I won nearly $7. It was on a night when I sat at a table and found 2 people just open shoving every hand. I got AJo in the SB and took it down, so that accounts for a big chunk of that win rate, but taking that hand out still gives me 81.3bb/100. What seems to have happened otherwise is that people just haven't believed me when I've been betting from the SB, so my decent hands have been getting paid off spectacularly. On the CO seat, its probably been the complete opposite and I've been paying people off through 'not believing' them. As I said though, I need to go into more detail on that.

Never folding the AA hand. 3bet pot with SPR of like 4. Its criminal to fold at any point unless you have an absolute sick read on someone.

Even if we didn't have stats on him, the fact that him raising any hand on this board makes him automatically terrible.

1) Standard
2) Hate these spots vs unknowns, I tend to fold more than most here.
3) Wp
4) Wp post but I fold pre, BB/SB aren't fully stacked and opener has 40bbs.
5) Fold pre, I dont know why you flat JTo on the BTN to a 4x raise UTG vs not even a full stack. When an aggro player checks the flop and ends up overbet shipping 4x pot on the river Im giving him some credit for a slowplayed hand here. AJ I snap, JT you really dont beat much and I highly doubt hes bluffing.
6) Just get it in on the flop. If somehow CO is ******ed enough to flat K9 or AK behind us then whatever we have a redraw, hes likely got pair+draw, heart draw. He can flat JJ/TT here too so sets are possible. River I really hate life, turn is strange, Id expect him to check back a lot of sets here now because he wont want to get x/j off his hand. Axhh makes the most sense to me but full houses are possible.

Yeah, results:

1) Villain had AA, I couldn't bink.
2) Villain had AKo, I held.
3) Villain had TT, I won.
4) Villain had AKo (wtf), he won.
5) Villain had AJo, he won (I'm flatting JTo because I'm good for his stack if I spike a J or a T vs most of his range)
6) Villain had AQo (again, wtf, guess he decided to bluff the river/tilt-shove - he did have Ah though), I won.

Just had a tilting session, played my A-game, got coolered repeatedly and in the end ran $80 under EV to end up -$60. One weird hand I want a line check on, villain is 20/20 over 10:

Hud not working on 888 again. Seems as tho HHs aren't being saved by Pacific. Nothing in their saved HH folder

In other news, just played across 3 sites and won on all of them
03-05-2013 , 03:41 PM
@TDA - that's a pretty interesting hand. Love to know what villain plays like that. I'm thinking an oddly played 2P or FD that was gonna ch/call river - or it's complete spew by villain?! Either way, doesn't make too much sense albeit you don't have many value hands on a flop like that
03-05-2013 , 04:28 PM
Ugh -10$ again. Tried 4nl, really feels a lot softer than 2nl. Less stealing / 3-betting regs and equal amount of fishes. Nothing accomplished really, except better red line while multitabling.

Start of session, not many hands on villain. Seemed like a payday spot, put him on Kx here.

I hate party's system for posting blinds. I just Ctrl-A (to auto-post blind) to get it done fast :/
I hate it because if i click on "auto-post blind" from settings while it's my turn on BB, it "cancels" the action. Have to click and re-click on table with action on to switch to, most annoying thing ever. Once folded pocket aces PF due to that system, because i couldn't switch to that table fast enough.

K7: Why are you posting OOP? Especially with 2 hands until the BB. Don't think I'm folding the turn given how short he is.
85s: See above, and the river is a fold, this passive a player isn't raising worse.
99: Fold to the turn raise. He has a flush.

@DefArt, what did villain have in the hand u posted?
        03-05-2013 , 05:53 PM
        @tda

KQ hand I wouldn't be surprised if it's spew. AK or AQ is possible too. I think it's most likely the latter though, because of the AKx board he wouldn't be bluffing on these kinds of board textures, I think b/f turn and c/f river should be good. Would love to know what he showed up with though

Couldn't sleep so dipped into Zoom again with the usual result
Didn't start off well with KK < AK aipf, A on turn.

Face a lot more aggro on Stars Zoom than I'm used to.
This hand here, I'd fold this most of the time, and had been folding hands like this a lot (except the one where I called the raise and I had an overpair and he'd flopped a set :/)

Sick turn bet - is this standard?
For once I'm good this time - 80/20!

Also running like AIDS on stars...
Thought I'd quit the zoom and head to the reg tables.
Much more fishy - unfortunately constantly coolered.
One 88/15 fish was winning like 90% of the pots on the table.
        Just against him:
        JJ < A4s after he called a squeeze OOP, flopped a 4, called turned a 4
AKo < 29o! which he limp called UTG and flopped a 9
AKs < TKo after he 3 bet me pre! then called down and hit a T on turn
TT < AKs all in on turn, last comes on river

        On another table:
74 < 98 when I was allowed a free flop from bb with 944 flop, 9 turn sigh

        Stars hates me...

LOL - wait until you get a real job! (no offence)

Running at 12bb/100 so far for the month at 2NL/5NL Zoom. Spunked off $10 yesterday playing while drunk though which is a pretty big leak for me; are there any quick tournaments I could play for FPP on stars to save my bankroll when I'm not at my best?

I've had several real jobs. Probably enjoyed poker more with a job cause I could freely experiment with different sites and different games. A job was detrimental to my uni though so backing off the work force until I finish my degree (oh the benefits of being young )

You probably meant wait until you get married anyway :P

This thread seems way off from bankroll discussion. I see BBV and Strategy, which, have two seperate forums for those and each are quite good at what they do.

Finally a session with only 3 lost biggish pots.
hand 1: Original raiser 59% steal. Other player 59/20. That call kinda surprised me on the flop. I put him on Qx which could be higher than mine and was afraid to bet on the turn.
I also have some kind of leak in my gameplay. I became so fixated on villain having Qx here that i didn't notice that the river was third club. It happens with fear of small straights often. Like 99 hand posted yesterday, was so fixated on my PP being the best that i didn't notice the third diamond on the board.

^That's a pretty serious leak - you should really pay attention to the board.

I used to have this thing when I didn't notice that my trips or set had now become a full house on the river.
Wasn't too much of a problem when we got it all in and villain has JJJ and I have 888 no wait - I have 88899!
But when I didn't bet or raise river because there was a flush or straight on board, I definitely lost value.

Slow down - take a few extra seconds to look at the board and think before acting.

Ur welcome to talk about bankrolls, our ask questions if u have them. But if the thread was only about that it probably wouldn't last that long. It's kinda morphed into what it is now, so by all means hang around if u like, if not, no problem
