So, when just starting out, how do you / did you manage to balance the need to start at a lower buyin of play (2NL, 5NL, 10NL) so that you could learn without losing too much money with the desire to clear bonuses and gather points (on PS)?

By constantly reminding myself that I couldn't clear a bonus or get points if I go bust.

Yeh, I was looking at the bonuses / points because I thought it would help to make up all the money that I'm losing. You guys are right - I need to focus on the game first so that I'm not losing money there and then I can add to that money with any bonuses. Appreciate you screwing my head on straighter - it gets pretty tilted sometimes.
