Id recommend deuces cracked or card runners , not sure how new there material is these days but both sites are worth a look . Also some videos to check out here , poker bank has free + paid , again not sure how relevant they are today as they are a few years old but iff your new they will be enough to get you beating micros and thinking about your game.

Also alot of old deuces cracked series are now free on youtube such as the micro no limit grinder series or baby steps

Mathematics of poker epesode 2 couldnt see episode 1 so have a search

you could also try the search function on here , youd be amazed what you can find with a little effort, people generally don't like handing everything on a plate when its taken them years to learn . Iff your serious about learning it's not hard to find good material to learn from. And get involved in discussion don't just ask for people to tell you the ABC's and short cuts to becoming a good player.

Apart of becoming decent at poker is the journey of discovery and it takes time(a life time in my case) and im still learning after 15 years of playing

Have a look at Coaching Advice -> **ALL Training Site Discussion Goes Here** thread, I personally like run it once, but it's kinda pricey. However, that's not the only way to study, I think that there are more effective ways to learn - crEV, trackers, hand ranges, various reports on your game, tendency analysis, but you have to learn some skills in order to perform these correctly.

^^ best way to learn the game is play a ton of volume on the tables then look into a study group you can join of players at similar lvls to chat and discuss with + post hands on here and once you have good fundamentals down perhaps look into coaching iff needed.

I been playing 14 years and never had any study group or coaching but i feel it's held me back at times , im thinking very seriously of investing $1000- $1200 into a decent coach just to review where exactly i am. Im decent but treading water for years in lower stakes never moving much beyond 50nl bar some short periods at 100nl.

Im sure study groups and talking with people is pretty key to learning and keeping ahead of the crowed.Using things like a hud is also pretty key these days .

Totally agree, study groups or peers can have a massive impact on your game. There are a lot of creative and smart people coming from different backgrounds. They are always some golden nuggets while chatting with different people, looking at things from a different perspective. Just try to avoid unorganized study groups where people talk about non poker related stuff or post bad beats.

Bad beats are for newer players and shouldn't be spoken of in any study group. The only concern is did you play the hand correctly. Once you played enough hands you've seen it all so it's all old hat and run of the mill when a beat happens. But we all go through a stage of thinking no one else can run as bad as us when that 1st downswing hits.

Good thing about study groups i would think is they can at'least tell the person they done nothing wrong and to forget about worrying about losing a stack. Ive seen people on various forums asking iff they done the right thing to get AA all in because they lost there stack. Perhaps the hardest thing in poker to learn is to not be results orientated.

Tilt was the hardest thing in poker i had to deal with it took me a quite while and probably 2k or 3k to really learn to deal with it , running a br up and losing half of it then starting again , it was a huge issue for me for quite a while . Im sure most players go through that learning period though unless they are just cold as ice.
