I have never played poker at a casino so i am new to casino etiquette and rules (such as the 1 chip rule, where preflop, if you throw in a single high value chip w/o saying anything, its considered a call instead of a raise)

so, in this clip

ivey makes a call, but he just pushes a stack in.

How does he even know that stack is exactly the right amount to make the call without even counting it out before hand?

Looks to me like he counted out the chips to make the call before he shoved them in, probably to get a good sense of how many chips he'd be left with if he called and was wrong.

The one chip rule isn't just preflop. A single oversized chip is always a call unless you verbally announce otherwise.

If you are concerned about live play, you don't need to be. You can always verbally declare what you want to do and then even if you fumble around with the chips and put the wrong amount in, what you verbalized first will stand.

When is it ok to ask to run it twice or 3 times? Do all casino tournaments allow multiple runs?

That is typically only in high stakes cash games when the players agree to do so. You never run it more than once in a tournament.

Then just take your time and make sure you have the right amounts. There is no time limit. Keep your chips in stacks of 10 so you can keep it organized. You'll get used to it with some practice.

When the pot is enough to buy a house.

Stacks of 10 are also good when you're just starting out because some tables have kind of squishy felt, and at least for me made me feel like I was going to knock down a stack of 20 chips if I breathed too hard on them the first time I played.

It lets other people know you're a noob, but if you're decent at poker and just haven't played live before, that's probably a good thing.
