Oh man guys, I busted out a FT red pro in a satellite, so I get a free t-shirt telling everyone how awesome I am. This is going to be so epic.

Well, maybe I don't understand the meaning of "Red Pro", but entering a satellite
as a "pro" seems like Man U deciding to enter Round 1 of the FA Cup.

just a way to cut costs.

Lots of players play satellites cause its +EV.

Not sure what the red pro has anything to do with it.

You could theoretically play Sats and not even play in them and just collect the T$s if you wanted (I think some players actually so this; the $80ish Sat to the Sun Mill)

That's how I built up what roll I've got, $200 or $300 at a time. I satted into four different FTOPS events (a few a couple of times), and then took the T$s. That was good money; too bad the events are almost over...

Running 3buyins over EV obv. I know I shouldn't be playing but HU is fun I thought about playing with the profit, quit when I lose the 3BI, but thats 15BI for my normal stakes, so no more 50nl for me.

I guess if I wanted my HU fix I could deposit on iPoker and play 20nl? I heard the rake was extortionate though.

I think/hope it was a friend trying to login to my account, he has done it before. At least if its him I know some random hasn't been trying to steal my pennies.

What satty's have you been playing?

I have been doing this a bit the last few days on PS but at a smaller scale. Enter the $2.20 satellite for the sunday 1/4 million (a $11 ticket), runs every 30 minutes. It takes about 90-120 minutes, attracts around 150 people and 22 get paid. I found them really easy, with 35 left a lot of people are just folding and if you're in the danger zone, a succesful preflop shove at 400/800 blinds will get you out of trouble again. If you get enough chips to put you in the top 10 in a late stage you can just sit out.

Yesterday I had T$ 22 from the day before, entered 4 of them and placed in two so now I have T$ 35.20. It's really the easiest money ever, skill levels are so low (players for whom paying $11 for a tournament is too much money or too much of a risk) that you're never really in any danger. A 180 man $2.20 pays the top 18 where 10-18 only get $4, this pays the top 25 with 180entrants $11 if you make it with a small stack. Unless you can make the top 3 in a 180 man, this is less variance and more profits.

Anyone know any comparable sats on PS with higher stakes and price that are not rebuy ones ?
