HEM is laggy too, fwiw.

i haven't really had any problems with pt3 since i bought it in feb. any issues have either been user error or easily resolved by reading their forums. haven;t thoroughly looked at hem tho.

Its the reverse for me when I go past 8 tables (and I just upgraded my PC)

only think i dont like about HEM is if i have it running and use youtube it starts pausing and slowing down the youtube video.

There are issues with both software packages. In fact, every complex software package in the world is going to have issues. Some people will have no problems, other people seem to be plagued with them.

There are people who have nothing but problems with HEM. There are people that have nothing but problems with PT3. No software works 100% of the time for 100% of the people. It's just not possible with the infinite number of computer hardware and software configurations.

I'm sorry you are one of the few that has issues with PT3. We would like to work with you to determine your problems and fix them if you change your mind. Without help from users having problems, we aren't able to fix them.

FFS Ozi, almost all of the players I do money trades/transfers with I met through LC/NC threads.

I understand his point though... why should someone like myself, you, bacon, bumblebee etc etc etc.. be allowed to post for trades in here... but not someone with less posts? I mean.. we are already kind of allowed to push the rules a bit more than others.. but I can understand with all the scammers and stuff.. it's just easier to keep all that in the few threads that are already designated to transfers.

I do see your point to ro... since 90% (or more) of the time... it's the same 5-10 posters in this thread.. and we all seem to have a trust with each other, and if we need a small, quick trade.. why not do it here.. but then again.. I'm sure we all, for the most part, have the aim/msn sn's for the other nc/lc regs.

yes its being a bit pedantic and i understand both sides of the argument. ive also seen people get infracted by supermods in charge of the transfers thread because said mod just so happened to wander by and see someone looking for a trade in the micros. since then im less inclined to turn a blind eye to it. you aint gunna get banhammered for it unless you go about it really badly and persistently but please understand that the official line is that rules are the rules. with my official greenmodhat thats all i have to say on the matter. cheers

now more importantly, i just played some rush poker before (NL10 just to try it out)..........it actually might be a nice game to fill the void for those times you want to play some poker but dont want the hassle if running up all the tables and shutting down at the end (like if you know you'll have to quit at like 10 seconds notice for whatever reason) and they've even got limit poker now.

No no Ozi, I am just kidding, I understand it's not allowed technically and it's your duty to enforce rules, but it's sort of a rule that people bend most of the time without much worry or negative consequence so I suppose most people, or at least I was hoping that the admin would just let it continue as long as nothing bad happens.

It just mean asking through msn/skype/aim instead anyway. ITT at least the trades are done basically everytime by people who've known each other before the trade, sometimes quite well.

now for example, say a reg posted here to say that they had posted in the trades thread but would prefer to trade with someone they know here and were to direct them to the trades thread then that would be a legit line because from my POV i'd assume that the trade was completed in said transfers thread.
