Are HU SNG's the most profitable form of poker?

Looking on the leaderboards it seems that all the top money makersd are all Hu SNG players.
I realise that SS leaderboards don't incorperate cash but how many cash players are making $300k/Year?
Is this sort of money only limited to $400NL+?
Im terribly confused.

Making it to 1k/2k/5ks is going to be pretty hard. I'd be more worried about what you could make playing $100-$200 HU SNG's vs what you could achieve in cash or MTT's.

There isn't really any action above $200. But a lot of people make good money playing the $100 and $200 games.

But I'm saying if your goal is to make 200k+ a year, you're better off focusing on something other than HU SNG's.
