How to study poker systematically?(what module I should learn?) How to study poker systematically?(what module I should learn?)

Hi everyone,I have a strong background in math and I have been played poker for a year. But I feel I have not studied poker systematically.
In my personal opinions there are several fundamental skill that a beginner should familiar with before he improve to advanced player, for example: 1)calculate equity 2)range analysis 3)GTO. After he improve to advanced player and he should possessed skills like:1) build decision tree 2)build strategy 3)exploit opponent
So, in above logic, how can I study systematically to improve those skill? for example:If I want to improve my skill of calculating the equity, what module I should learn? and so on, How can I build a big picture of learning poker?

thank you.

Concur with 6-4. There are limited applications for GTO play, most beginning players will not be in games where GTO is useful or even close to the best option. And there are a whole mess of topics between #2 and #3. Your list reads like 1) stand, 2) crawl, 3) run the new york marathon backwards in high heels.

The way I usually advise people to study poker is to
1) focus on your cards-learn about hand strength and drawing odds. Learn about pot odds and equity (using generic assumptions on opponents hands)
2) focus on your opponent-learn to infer hand ranges, learn about bet sizing, continue to work on calculating equity with more information on opponents ranges
3) focus on manipulating image-now that you know your game, and are beginning to understand your opponents, start manipulating action by presenting inaccurate information. Use your image to trap or bluff. Start identifying their moves and pick them off.

For me, step three is all about exploitation. GTO is not about exploitation at all, and is therefore not useful in most beginners games, where players play bad, unbalanced strategies.

The fastest way to "speed" up your learning process would be to either..
1) Hire a coach. You'll need some expendable income as any coach worth the money is going to be $150+/hourly.

2) Join a training site like RaiseYourEdge or UpswingPoker and grind through their learning paths. I'd advise for RaiseyourEdge (If MTT player). I don't have much experience with Upswing but what I've heard is that it is more focused for cash games.. but they have expensive "Pro" modules with content that is specific to certain game types.. (6-max, MTT's, Mixed Games, PLO).

Otherwise, just putting in the hours.. learning your analyze your own play. There are some things you can only learn from putting in the long hours.

Good luck man! Enjoy the long journey and grind.

Thank you for your advise.
1) I play poker as part-time, so I dont have enough time to hire a coach.
2) I subscribe RaiseyourEdge and I saw Bencb789 replay on $10300 event#11, I found quite useful, I will stick on it.

Thank you again

Thank you for your advise, I will refresh my mind of poker and rebuild my logic.
