How to read players when multi-tabling How to read players when multi-tabling

I am not rolled for anything more than $3-$5 sngs and I previously posted about a break even stretch after 800 or so tourneys at those stakes.

After getting my play reviewed by a couple of coaches I found that I didn't have any major leaks in my game except that my starting hand ranges at the first two levels was perhaps too tight, and in general I was raising too little with premium holdings JJ+ and that I was raising a bit too much OP in and around the money (with a decent stack but into LAG limpers, only bubble or later though)

I think the highlighted part is my biggest leak but I don't have a read on players because the PT HUD is too big to be displayed on my multiple tables since they have to be made small. Since I am multi-tabling, i don't get to watch too much of the play when i am not involved so I can't read a player without a HUD. I have to multi-table because I don't play a great number of hours a day so when I do I want to maximize the number of tourneys.

I really seem to be going wrong with dominating and being aggressive a bit too much in and around the money and I think I can become profitable if I got a better read on who I am against in the later stages.

How do you guys read a player when multi-tabling?

How many tables are you currently at?? Maybe try reducing the amount so you can have a clear and complete thought process on every hand which you are involved in. When you play too many tables, you can become easily exploitable and bluffed in marginal situations...practice and patience will serve you well.

Once you can make decent reads, then bump the tables back up. I'm not saying you need to cut down to 2 tables necessarily, but maybe 4-6 max so you can see the action on all tables at once. Then you can pay more attention to all players' tendencies/ranges...

Also, study ICM for SNG's, and the only reads you'll really need in ICM spots are knowing what kind of range players will call/shove with...

I usually take notes early on to help determine players calling/shoving ranges... and hopefully have a read on them when the table dies down to about 4-6 players.. But at these levels, many of the players don't have a bubble play(or a profitable one at that), so use that to your advantage. Don't be scared not to place, accumulate as many chips as possible, and know your push/fold limits.

Also, what site do you play on? On average, how many people per tournament?
