with this attitude you might as well quit IMO. You aren't gonna get good at poker just like that. How many books have you read in less than two months? How much of that have you actually comprehended and put to the test and implemented it in your game?
Remember playing online, playing your friends, and playing at cardrooms are all different and require different strategies. You need to get hands more hands in and be patient.
When I started reading poker books after playing over 20k plus hands on facebook poker, lol, I read the holy grail of course super/system by Doyle Brunson. I read books on odds and books on theory. I read gus hansens' every hand revealed which was an awesome read. But probably the best book I have read was Mike Caro's Most Profitable Hold Em Advice.
Check it out you will look at poker in an entirely different way, for sure.
You have to have a passion for the game itself not just winning money. Money shouldn't be the reason you are playing while you are learning because it will distract you from becoming a better player.
If you want to get out of a losing streak you need to realize that everyone gets card dead. It happens and thats the reality of playing a game with cards. You get hot, you get cold it doesn't last forever. Just keep reading up and play more and more. Play everyday if you can, play online, get a deck of cards and play with yourself. Make yourself an expert by putting in the time and the effort and you will get to where you want to be. Be patient, its ALL about patience.
so relax, take a breath, and take advantage of this amazing forum and the knowledge contained within. good luck
