$10 10k guaranteed on ACR
Blinds 50/100 10 ante
don't have stack sizes other than for MP1 and myself. both start the hand with roughly 9.5k.

UTG+1 raise 200
UTG+2 calls 200
MP1 calls 200
Hijack(hero) 3 bets 1200
cutoff and button fold
SB calls 1200
BB folds
UTG+1 calls 1200
UTG+2 folds
MP1 calls 1200

flop
3c Ks 9c

UTG+1 checks
MP1 jams 8900
I have AcKh and have 8300 left.
I call
SB and UTG+1 fold

MP1 show K3 for flopped 2 pair.

I guess my question is with AK here when MP1 overbet jams the flop do I just have to call. I think its unlikely that MP1 has anything that beats me other than 2 pair, would 33 or 99 really just open jam a set here? maybe. KK is unlikely considering he limped 2 times pre. Don't have any history with these players other than about 40 hands. Do I play it any differently or just say that sucks and move on?

It's either 2pr+ or it isn't. Sorry for stating the obvious, but I mean you're either way ahead (of stuff like KJ) or way behind (33 etc). In my experience of donkaments, the overbet donk shove is often a vulnerable made hand, and is often exactly 2pr being played woefully by a LAGfish (although K9, K3 and 93 are all pretty weird holdings for this spot). I'd only call if villain has been spewing with one pair on previous hands. I'm definitely more inclined to fold when you're not closing the action. One of the other two players could easily have 99 or 33. You also block the nut flush draw, so villain usually has a made hand. You'll have much clearer spots to get your chips in vs crazy players like this, so fold now, chip up later imo.

the truth is poker hands don't have morals. when you go to the flop with AK and hit TPTK and have an SPR of 1.5 you get all the money in and that is all there is to it
