Learn to control yourself, bad beats will happen (if you lost 13 buyins without bad beats you should tight up abit)

Gun. Head. Done.

Seriously though, I lost 12 buyins today, made it back to 425% ROI of the original (9 tabling). Just play tight, bad streaks happen

Continue to play with confidence and trust yourself to make +EV moves. Maybe set a stop loss goal for yourself. If you feel like your playing on tilt, stop playing for a while and clear your head.

This will sound glib, but it's meant sincerely:

How do I get rid of the "I can't win" feeling? By winning.

If I'm playing well, eventually the Sklansky bucks turn themselves into real dollars.

(Of course, taking a bit of a break, be it five minutes, a day, a week, or a month, can help erase the feeling. I've personally found that an intense session in a weight room can clear out the megatilt feeling from a bad loss.)

I prefer scotch, but to each his own.

seriously, exercise is worth about 10 time what you think it is, too. a jog around the block can work wonders.

6 buyins below EV today - I usually just break something worth the approximate value of the buyins.

move down if you can at least you run bad for less

although sometimes i move up and play like a nit and it works i win a big pot and instantly feel better

By winning. You need to read all the stickies, go with a very conservative ABC approach in the micros and you will get paid off playing solid poker. Don't start loosening up until you have more experience and can play well after the flop.

While you are losing, why not stick to this approach by SirCuddles? It can only help at this point. It's how I started online just to get a feel for the games since they are very different and much faster/tougher than live.

Hey, know how you feel. Im currently down about 25 BI's although 12 of those are from being new to PLO. The others are mostly from being sucked out on the river.

I mean, 2 outtered twice be the same person in 4 hands, you feel like hes laughing at you! And it does affect the way you play, but just tighten up, pick your spot. Sooner or later you will have someone with a monster hand, and you will take there stack.

Just hope you do it before someone else gets it

i punch the wall, kick my door, yell at my cat, log onto 2p2 read a random SELFMADE post laugh at it, throw my chair because im still angry.

Then realize that i still have money in my acct and these donks will be busto in a few days so I better start grinding b4 they lose it all.

i think that although it is so obviously stupid knowing (well thinking) your about to get rivered actually does have an affect. So many times ive had a str8 etc when someone has had a set and just been thinking and the board pairs BOOM on the river. this is terrible for your frame of mind.
positive thinking is the key.
luckily im starting to get slightly better with my tilt. lost 4 BI yday ands didnt even feel that burning sensation in my stumoch (this normaly precludes me thinking FU and roll on table)

think positive, take a break....jack off

Nope, I do tend to add a few once I feel tilted. It often works out pretty well, although I'm by far not on my A-Game multi-tabling, but it's way better than my C-Game.

Maybe just take a short break.

Sure, that's a leak, because if you have an edge in your game, time spent away from it is costing you $$, but if the 'bad beats' are getting to you so much that you're starting to think 'I can't win' then you're already on a form of soft tilt, so sitting out can't be a huge mistake.

Hope it turns round for you soon.
