Hi,

played this hand the other day. Villain 6 shoved all-in at the end. I put him on three eights, but he could hold anything here relying on his loose pre-flop range. Villain appeared very loose; saw him calling my raise with 48 or T7 and hitting two pair on me. He hit both of these hands on the flop and check-called them to showdown; which is why I lost some bucks to him in these hands - I just couldn't put him on a hand. So, very loose player he is.)), - well, all I knew was that I felt beat, so I folded. C&C appreciated.

And in this hand, I once again faced a tough decision where I just felt beat and folded. The way Villain 2 weak-bet the flop and turn made me think he had a flush draw. My betting and raising is very poor I presume. I didn't think properly about how much to raise to make him fold a possible draw. No precise reads made it even harder.
I kinda knew the flush would hit, so I hesitated to bet too much. Probably a totally wrong way to approach it. C&C welcome.

Hand 2 - Definitely raise the flop and try to get it in on the turn. Not doing so puts you in a tough spot on the river.

agree with diggz bout hand 2, if villain is this loose then just get it in and avoid yourself a tough river decision.

regarding hand 1, once we get called on the flop we would prefer to see a cheap showdown, because our hand is vulnerable here (very poor kicker). and if villain is so loose, he could pretty much out draw you with any card that hits the turn or river (and you could already be beat if villain plays so passively).

since we know villain is not going to fold prob 90% of the time, c/c the turn and river imo.

try to avoid building a big pot - if the turn had gone check/check, then the pot is .38, and say villain likes to bluff the river, then now his bluff is probably going to be a much more callable size. you prob win this kind of pot more often with this line, and you also have the benefit of not building a big pot with a one pair hand.

Hand number 1: I just complete from the SB here. People at this level call with all kinds of trash preflop and we really would not want to play a raised pot OOP with A4o. I like your bet on the flop but I slow down drastically on the turn. I probably bet/fold here but I make it 2/3 the pot instead of just $.10. As played you have an easy muck on the river.

Hand number 2: Please raise the flop. Half the deck can fall as scarecards on the turn and you really want to build the pot right away here with TPTK. When you decide to call postflop and raise on the turn I absolutely call his AI on the river.

Hand 1:
whats up with those 3 streets of minbets? If I were villian i'd raise any 2 cards on the river.
cut that 3 streets of minbetting out.

Hand 2:
Raise the flop thats just terrible to call.. Call river. This is 2NL ,You will see weaker kings and middle pairs here a TON.

Thanks guys for the c&c.

I had a feeling I played these really poorly. I will try to implement your suggestions in future plays. I think I need to bet/raise more aggressivley and get it in earlier at these stakes.

Grunch.....

HAND 1:

Honestly, I usually fold pre-flop.

HAND 2:

Blah. Maybe not too bad. Depends on the opponent. I probably call the river though.

Just to re-emphasise what's been said, the worst part of the two hands is the flop on hand 2, you must, must raise here. Also, if you're going through a patch where you're getting outdrawn it's somewhat understandable that you feel like you 'know' the flush card is going to hit, but try not to think like this because it's a monstrously -EV way to play.
