I have lost 215$ within the ast 2 days. These were my first time playing poker for Real money. Anyone got advice on how i can make this back? I have won a couple of sit n goes. I also managed to double up money then lost it all i usually only play one table at a time. I don't consider myself great but when i used to play for play money i was decent. Any help? i currently have about 30 dollars left i'm not putting anymore money in. thanks in advance.

Enter a $25+2 tournament, play tight until you get to the prize tier around $215, sit out for the rest of the tournament.

what STAKES did u play for? (in Cashgame/or buyins in sitn+go)

no offense, but if u were DECENT with PLAYMONEY, that translates in nothing really. u cant compare PM with RM, but if u werent even godly there, u are prolly a losing player with RM.
the word Bankrollmanagement is something u will hear a LOT.
it appears that you played WAY over your head.
more infos are needed to give more detailed advice.

hope this isnt a level

yes it does seem like i am a loosing player i rarely win any hands... it seems everyone gets betters hands than me adn or are just good bluffers. I think worst of all is a lack patience and after waiting too long i start playing **** cards.

That is why multi tabling is essential for me.

Instead of having to wait 5 to 10 minutes for a great hand, you maybe wait a minute.

I can't stand to play 1 table unless the game is a live game, then I'm trying to figure everyone out even when I'm not playing. Even in that minute you don't have a great hand, you are making decisions on whether you can afford to limp, or just fold it.

forget about making it back in the short term. It has gone.
Try to think about the best way to risk the remaining $30 in terms of improving your game and if you acquire discipline and poker logic then one day you may laugh at how you started but barring exceptional luck it won't be any time very soon.
If you are serious then hunker down and relearn the game from scratch with no preconceptions, grinding up that $30 and reassessing things as you gain experience.

Find a real life friend who you can transfer the money to and have them give u $30. Then buy a book.
Then mow a lawn for like $20, deposit and start at 2NL. Or do it the other way, mow the lawn for $20 and buy a book and keep the $30 online. :P

LOL you have a long way ahead, its not that easy to take back that money. First you dont have anything to get back, once the money is on the pot is not yours. Second you need to hang around 2+2 and learn!!! You need to learn serious poker otherwise if you earn again those $215 its just luck, and you will lose that money again.

I know many guys who are losing players at $1/$2 live home games who decide to "practice for the real* game" by charging $200 to their credit cards and playing $1/$2 online. They don't understand why they get destroyed so fast. Their theory is that it is rigged.
