OK, my only dog in this fight is the pittance that FTP held in my account and I wrote that off long ago. All I give 2 shi** about is that all my poker friends worldwide get their funds returned. Most that I know personally did not bust their accounts a week before BF like durrrr was lucky (unlucky?) enough to have done, and still had significant funds in their accts.

I still just do not see the connection between the current licensing body revoking a license that clearly violated every rule they had set, and finding a new investor who will have to get their own gaming license from either AGCC or some other authority. What am I missing here? The damn French or anyone else can buy the company and repay the $400 million either way, they still must get their own gaming license regardless of FTP's status with AGCC. But if AGCC wishes to get more fees going forward from any new investor, then there is a reason for them to only suspend the current license with the belief that new owners will simply re-apply to AGCC for the new license rather than switch licensing authorities.

AGCC is only concerned with their past due fees from FTP (and new fees going forward) and protecting their tarnished reputation. They are just showing themselves as bloody thieves in league with FTP. Whoever buys the company should look for new gaming authority if they want to regain any trust from the poker community.
