What kind of range of hands do you believe he was 3b'ing, OP? If he's been 3b'ing a lot/regularly, then I might lean twords a 4b/call pre. If he's been tight or you have no reads, then you can prob call and evaluate based on the flop texture and his action.

You should develop a plan for the hand when deciding what to do after he 3b's you... Are we c/r'ing on undercard flops? b/c'ing? If you have a plan for what you're gonna do post flop when making the decision pre flop, it makes the hand overall easier to play.

either 4 bet pre or fold imo, and to determine on what the right play is you need reads. Calling and being OOP sucks so hard here, just praying that nothing higher then a J hits, which is why I think folding is better than calling.

considering the limits:

Don't 4 bet, usually a miniraise screems AA,KK, plus let's say you 4 bet to 750 and he shoves you are in a super crappy spot.

Folding seems super weak and if nothing else, considering there is 600 in the pot, that the other villain will call as well and you can stack the guy who 3bet you if you hit your jack, I def call.

On the flop, I am afraid you have to fold and even if the flop was all low cards you should proceed with caution

his range was very wide, even though he raised, he (and most people) were playing Kx, Qx, and with his raise it could be KQ or something, but wasn't sure.
the Q was a scare card which made me fold, but maybe a 4bet would have been better preflop, except on the case Mrspiky just said

You played it fine. I'm not a fan of calling preflop here, generally, but he makes it so small that you are getting too good odds to fold.

Postflop, it is an easy fold as you now basically only beat AK or some random bluff.

Shove/fold pre. I don't really mind one over the other but calling is the worst play.

Do you think villain will fold KK to a shove? Do you think villain will call with TT? Maybe we can fold out QQ or get a call from AK but it's hard for villain to play very wrong against a shove imo. Meanwhile we've been given odds to setmine, and many villains with this bet sizing can't have worse than JJ anyway.

No, obviously not. Yes, it's very possible and with a load of other hands which are behind too. Not sure what bet sizing you're talking about, it's a min raise on the button. You don't think someone can min raise on button with any 2 as a squeeze play?
