Hi! I am new in this forum and have approximatley played poker for about one and a half month. I usually play SnG 6 max hypers ($1,5 and $3,5). NLHE.

How do you recommend me getting started ? Are there any programs I should be aware of ? Are there any hand trackers I should download ? What do I do to get better except playing more ? Any program for statistics maybe ?

Thanks in advance!

If you are playing hypers I'd look at the STT forum

Link

As you are more likely to get better answers. For software etc then yes PokerTracker 4 or Holdem Manager, do the trial for both buy whichever one you prefer (very similar, more a personal choice)

GL!

Start simple! You need to figure out what goals you want to accomplish in Poker and how far you are willing to go. As far as software goes you can take your pick from the above posts. Finally, if you want to get better, the information is out there. Read, read, read! Forums, books, stats, whatever information about Poker you can get your hands on. You should also play often, but not so much to get burnt out.

Hope this helps,
Robtimus

Rather than relying on software like pt4 and hem to improve you should read books and post hands on here to see what you did wrong. Software is useful though to see how you're doing though.

I don't play STTs but surely there are sites you could join where you play much lower stakes while you're learning?
