So I play 10nl and have a habit of cbetting a ****load otf (80%) and I think it works well cause most players there are weak and not paying too much attention to my cbetting frequency, other than the regs that is. My turn cbet percentage is only half of what my flop cbet is (40%) but vs regs knowing they use hud I fire turn cbets a lot more often than against weak passive players (to them I usually give up after having my flop cbet called) and find I get a lot of credit from regs due to this. Also I play pretty lag which I think contributes to me having to give up more frequently than a tag player would due to my weaker range in general.

Anyways I'm moving up to 25nl where theres a lot more regs (better regs) and I'm going to look to effectively lower my flop cbet to about 75 and bring up my turn cbet to about 45, and yes I know its not about the percentages as much as it is how I use my cbets so I'm not necessarily looking to stabilize a percentage but I'll try to do it in a way that somewhat defends me vs floats. But obviously I'm one of the players who get floated more often than others, so yea now to the question

also just to mention again as this is an important part of my cbetting strat is that vs regs im cbetting turn much more and vs fish/passive/weak players I'm USUALLY not 2barrel bluffing/semibluffing


Do you guys think this is a significant leak or do you any of you have similar frequencies, am I overly prone to floats and should I be looking to cbet less at 25nl or is it w.e?

I'd consider anyone with those stats an extremely bad reg. It might be okay exploitatively at 10NL but I think there's probably a difference at 25NL in that most regs aren't complete mouth breathers (unless we're talking Bovada or 888 games).

In general I'd be looking to cbet both flop and turn something between 45 and 60%.

well this compares to blackrains micro strat, cbetting a lot of flops and giving up most of the time when called (not against good regs that is). at 10nl you could cbet 100% flops and still show profit, and lol i made the second post afterwards cause I thought this would get better answers in the micros section

i never really understood how some sites would have MUCH worse players, is this just speculation or a fact? and why would that be

Some sites have worse players for a few reasons: 1) strong advertising campaigns targeted at recreational gamblers; 2) rakeback programs which don't target high-volume players, or players who do research beforehand, or little-to-no rakeback; 3) historically poor players skin fish slower which leads to better fish retention; 4) particular rules/software features which strong players tend to dislike (table caps, anonymity, banning of HUDs); 5) other features which cramp high-volume players (poor software, low traffic).

Long term, I think you should be thinking about why you're betting - and with which part of your range - not how often.
You may well beat 25NL with a 75% c-bet rate, but at some point you're going to have to become more balanced.
