Hi All - hoping i've selected the right forum, apologies if it sould be posted elsewhere.

I'm going to Vegas for the 1st time next week and intend to play in a few tournys. My question is if i'm lucky enough to cash, as a British citizen i think i'm exempt from paying tax, do i need to provide proof? any forms (i've read about an ITIN form)?

Any help appreciated guys.

I'm not sure how it works for British Citizens, but as a Canadian I am also exempt, I have to pay the required 30% to the I.R.S. and fill out the "1042-S form".

Once I return to Canada, I go thru the necessary steps to get my money back. It takes awhile, but I've never had any problems.

This site might help you out.
