10$ lvl and theres massive amounts of open limping, is this by design?

A lot of folks limp in DON, I prefer a chip conservation approach and let other limp their stacks down. I would rather fold the first couple of levels unless I get a really decent hand and favorable position. Once it gets down to about 7 it is really time to pay attention and try to pick up pots, because people start to think about the bubble.

I've seen a lot of limping in the DoN's, also the regs strategy seems to be do absolutely nothing untill you catch premiums and let everyone else do the dirty work.

I play quite a few DoN's on Cake, and i have noticed a MASSIVE amount of limping. I am not quite sure why this is. Maybe because the donks think calling is better than raising in DoN's because they lose less chips by doing it. When it is actually worse.

Either way, the solid players should be able to take advantage of this, and this isn't done by getting involved in the limp fest.

Classic example of this today. Played 7 $5 NLHE DON. My VP and PFR was like 8. Played like three hands in each one, raise everytime took the blinds and antes and cash in all of them. Meanwhile the guys with VP of 25+ get killed.

i'm of the opinion that limping is ok in the first level with pp's and sc's to try to hit big and double up, but otherwise it's generally bad, it's rare that you make a mistake in a don by playing too tight
