I am aggrieved at having to knock together wedding invitations. And evening reception invitations. And RSVP cards. And finding places for ****ers to stay. And buying stamps.

He scammed a lot of us for small sums of money. $20 - $300 each and then disappeared. Not sure why , we have ideas , but no explanation from PP. Pretty ****ty iyam. If he was having problems and would have just said so , I am sure it would have not been a big deal. He played it so poorly tho that its Gg now imo.

Minor problems bee, the real changes occur starting about 6 months after the wedding. I expect you will be a fine 12 stepper and a very considerate and obedient husband

Oh yeah, I remember now. And by yeah I mean crap

Over the summer I received a message from pyrite asking to borrow $20. He said he was having trouble depositing and just wanted to donk around a bit at small stakes lhe. No problem.. ship him some money and don't think about it. A bit later, he asks for a bit more money saying he ran bad playing some mtts.. again I send him like $30 and think nothing of it. Later, I mentioned in passing that he owed me the money but wasn't in any hurry.. he said yeah no problem, he's having trouble with his debit card or whatever and he'll get it to me. A little after that he wants to know if he can just make it an even $100. I'm a bit annoyed at this point, but he did back me for a bit so I sent it to him. Didn't hear anything from him for awhile.. then he would occasionally hit me up on skype saying he'll pay me back as soon as he can. I told him ok, but I'm not in any super rush.

After awhile, I was low on my bankroll and was hoping to get that $100 from him.. and at this point the wheels fell off a bit (this is around late September). He told me his debit card wasn't working on rpm (no biggie) but that his paypal was also having troubles (hmm..). After awhile we decided he could just send me a greendot moneypak number and that would be that. That was the last time I heard from him directly. I had talked to someone else via text and found out he was owed $20. After that sat with me a bit.. I started poking around some of the other lc/nc regs to see if they were owed money from the last few months.

Well... it turned out he owed several of us money. One of us is owed a substantial amount.. the rest of us are owed between like $20 and $100, and we were all fed the same story. There are theories that have been tossed around, but I think most of us agreed that it's most likely someone that got in over his head and either was cut off from money at home or just couldn't face what he had done. No matter the reason, he has taken somewhere in the neighborhood of $500 from us (not to mention other ventures that people were involved with that I have little knowledge of).

We allowed the person owed the most to control how we proceeded, and for various reasons, he wanted to handle it himself.. which we had no problem with. This person reached out to pyrite once.. to which pyrite replied saying he had some big personal issues but he would work out a plan to pay us all back. We received that message the morning of October 11th, and we have not heard from him since.

So that's the full story from my point of view.

wow, that sounds pretty crazy. definitely sounds like an out of control gambling situation more than just straight up scumminess. I have owed money to people before (not often) and always feel horrible about it, even if it was some small amount. I could never fathom asking a person I already owe for some more money.

I actually have about a total of about $1200 owed to me by various people, sometimes I can't help my nature and like to be the good guy when I feel like a friend is really in need. Unfortunately a good amount of that money went down the drop or up a nose. I think about my situation now and how badly I could use that money, and how badly those people never needed it. It makes me sick sometimes, hearing the rationale behind why they can't pay back or why they don't really owe the full amount of what they borrowed. Still worse is someone who just completely ignores you.

PP came into this community pretty darn quickly, was accepted with great speed as well...im sure that puts up a wall for some of the regs that got scammed between them and new posters looking to become regs and that is a shame.

merry xmas eve everyone. I bet yours was better than mine.....today I discovered that termites have gotten into the woodwork of my house and its going to cost a few grand to get treated and that doesn't include the possibility of ripping down the gyprock wall, replacing studwork, putting gyprock back up and painting etc. ****. They are in an internal wall of the house and the wife discovered them when she went to wipe some dirt off the wall. Pest control came round and they have no idea how they got in as we have a cement slab and there is no telltale dirt tubes anywhere. I also happened to have an aircon guy come and fix some air vents on my aircon and all of the motors that enable/disable the air vents were broken...all 6 of them dammit. thats another 1200 bucks I didn't want to spend but at least I knew it was something I new i was going to pay for today.

so that is my final airing of grievance...termites aka white ants GTFO of my house.

And now I will move along to more fun things. Im really looking forward to xmas this year as I can't wait to see the pure joy on the faces of my kids on christmas morning, I'll have great company and there will be great food and lots of xmas drinkies! ,

My Festivus grumble:
My fiance left for France yesterday to see her family (dad just had successful Cancer op) and won't be back until just before New Year, so on xmas morning I will wake up alone in the house with no present giving
Despite having the day off work today the kittens decided 5am was the proper time to get up and play, so my plans of a long lie-in with several coffees have been dashed, and instead I'm trolling around 2+2 and looking out of the window at a grey sky, rain and high winds.
I feel your pain Ozi, but if only I needed aircon, ever!
