Ethics: Deep in tourny and have to leave?

I'm 19/246 in a 2.20 2k guaranteed on Stars but will lose the internet in a shortish time and will not be able to get it back for hours. Any suggestions as to what to do? Obviously i might not go deep enough for this to be a problem but is the best thing to do sit out and hope for the best?

Just play until you have to leave. What's the dilemma exactly?

Got a laptop or access to wifi anywhere? Can you carry on playing at a friend's? If the money you could win is significant to you, these are probably your best options.
If it will only be a very short break, you could try sitting out, depends how long it will be down for.
Did you know it would be going down when you started?

This isn't an ethical question, you're just pretty much SOL. I don't imagine Stars is going to do anything for you about it, but the good news is it's a $2.20 loss. You could go to a wi-fi coffee shop, but then a cup of coffee will cost you another buy-in

play until you have to leave then sit out
if its a big deal go to a friends house and play there.

Fair enough i guess. I've already cashed but the cash gets semi important to me especially if in an hours time i hit the final table then had to leave. No way around it i guess.

Ethics as in getting a friend to play for you? Otherwise this is no ethics issue.
