Hi guys/girls

Can anyone tell me the best way to learn hand equity on different flop textures etc.

I have flopzilla and equilab, should I just run through my different starting hands, e.g AKo and see what my equity looks like on a paired flop, low, dry flop, high, dry flop, low, wet flop and high, wet flop etc. is this the most effective and systematic way? Or is there a better way?

Thanks in advance of any responses.

Equilab's Equity Trainer is a one way to get better at this. Also, check out this recent thread in the Poker Theory forum, titled "Choosing subsets of flops for studying the game" by poker book author Will Tipton

Thanks for the reply.

That thread seems really interesting and I'll have another read but to be honest it's going way over my head at the minute

I'll have a look at the equilab trainer, would you suggest the way I said is a reasonable way to go about it?
