Go through hands you've played online with a hand replayer and hide your opponents hole cards. Open up PokerStove input your hand and your opponents preflop range(what you think it is, obv). Then with the flop betting actions given the board adjust your opponents hand range, look at the equity difference, etc and do that for turn and river...I just started doing this a few weeks ago and it opened my eyes up to a lot. I probably should have reviewed hand histories this way years ago :P

I answered a question like this the other day. I'll see if I can find it.

Or you could search the forum yourself...

I suggest just playing with pokerstove until you notice patterns and start to figure things out.

If you're good at simple mental math it's not too hard to do at the table either, as long as you understand combinations. Example, suppose the board is A752r and you have AJ. You figure opponent's range is AT+ TT+. If you understand combinations you know there are two aces left in the deck and can estimate villain is ahead of you 17 times and behind 24 times, 4/7=56%. (Or so. I'm a little drunk atm and did that math quickly. But it's okay to estimate quickly and be a little off since most situations are not going to be nearly even, and in case they are you probably want to err on the side of aggression when betting and caution when calling. Probably.)

e: yep just noticed I made a mistake. Oh well. It wouldn't affect our decision, DUCY?
