In a raised pot, is this the dryest board?

Any good posts on wet vs draw heavey boards?

Well that depends on several factors, specifically, hands that can call a raise. If it's deep or loose, then any two cards are possible. The dryest board is 27Qr as far as draws to straights or flushes. Only backdoor flushes on that one.

I'm not sure what you are getting at though. Heads up makes more boards dry. Tight games makes more boards dry. In general, a paired board is pretty dry. What are you really asking?

I woudl think a standard try board would be rainbow without an ace and str8draws are close to non existant

2h,Js,6d could be an example right?

I actually reconsider and I think 222 is the dryest board possible.

Just asking a general question. I heard of the terms wet and dry but never went through some examples. Of course I know that a 9cTcAc is really wet. I just got started playing poker awhile back and just needed some guidelines. I know boards with straight and flush draws are pretty wet, just trying to knowledge base up from the novice level to a decent player level

Just keep in mind that the dry/wet assessment of a board has more factors than just the cards that come up. In a mulitway pot that may or may not have been raised, a lot of boards can be wet. When you get heads up, most flop are dry. That's one of the reasons to raise pf to get people out of the hand.

Even a board of 7s8s9s heads up is not necessarily wet beyond hope. As a matter of fact, it can work in your favour. What you really need to do is range your opponent and figure if he can play hands like Asx, Ks3s, 65, T6 or JT against your raise. Of course, 77, 88 or 99 is also always possible but if he has one of those hands, he is also not too happy with that board and may show it in his betting pattern.

Wet boards in multiway pots are usually not a good situation. Wet boards in heads up pots can be a blessing, especially with position. There's actually a lot to discuss here.

What about AAA?

Not much can come on the turn or river to change the result here (except a backdoor royal flush draw).
