Psh Guys - Sorry been stressed with Uni regarding a stupid exam which I failed.

Thats 50% sorted for now - Its been hard to find a time to suit captains + I haven't been able to invite czyfool to the skype convo since he hasn't acceped my invite.

Seems like we need to somehow do an offline draw.

I'll let you guys know.

if we absolutely cant do a live draft i think the best bet is to do a google doc with all the entrants listed and then the order of the draft listed...then at will we go on and choose a person and move to our team when its our turn to draft. iirc correctly the draft order last time was randomly chosen, but then the order reversed each round. so each of 5 captains were randomly put in an order 1-5 and then the draft went something like this:

I'm pretty flexible on timing, and if CF isn't present for an online draft how are we going to do one offline without him ?

I can do any evening this week, same times as Bat from say 7pm onwards. We need to pick a day and time then pm the 5 captains. Suggest today/tomorrow/wednesday at a time and if everyone can fit one then Robert is your mothers brother.

Dispense with the idea of making it open too as that's just a waste of time imo.

. Commissioner organises the timing and structure of the event
. Captains choose teams and match ups
. Players play their matches on time
. Commissioner oversees the score keeping
. Escrow is paid out as scheduled.

This ain't rocket science.

The micros has done it successfully and with no embarrassment for years because the commissioner, the captains, and the players understood it was fun for all, only if all did their part.

This is all getting rather frustrating. Let's do it or kill it.

I'm just really frustrated right now that people would willingly choose to take part in the organizational process of something like this event and then seem to not really care about getting it set up. Enprinte has had ky contact details and some idea of my schedule for a while now and there has been ZERO talk of a tentative draft time or anything. I think we could've gotten this done much sooner doing it on our own but I didn't want to go around the commish as he chose to take this on as far as setting it all up. We made a thread begging people to join ffs...for this?

Also cf has been a captain since day 1 iirc...so why is he missing from the thread and from our Skype?

Sorry to have to call people out in this thread, but I have not been mean or untrue. If what I wrote bothers you then you can fix it by becoming more proactive about an in event you chose to organize and ill congratulate on a job well done
