I might be tempted to play in this if you run short of players. But I know my "limits" but not "no limit" HU (of course, that might be disputed.....the know limit part). I played in three uHULA's and didn't have a very stellar record in the first two but got my luckbox in tune for the last one. And the last KOTKP, I played Mike for the championship in the HUHU tournament. But that was again limit HU. Don't know if my luckbox would work for the NL variety.

As bee says, it really isn't much of a commitment. You have a full week to play your game, and given it is a single 100bb game, they often don't take too long. IIRC TBob and I played over 2 hours last year, but that was waaay the longest match I played.

Also, I can testify that there is some satisfaction in being picked last then running like god ! This happened to me in the uHULA over in the uLHE forum - they drafted me last either because they didn't know me very well, or they had inside info and knew me too well, could be either

There may be an extra prize for the best performing of the last round draft picks anyway, who knows ?

Over my head. This MOFA needs to be led by the hand and given an explanation to all that code.

Maybe, Bona can explain it in MOFA speak.

ASAP when we get enough players I think ?

As mentioned earlier - In for this competition:

Stats for HUSNG's last month - A mixture of $15 Turbos/Hypers

Why you should pick me: I was a HUSNG captain last time around, I'm a BQ reg and I mainly play HUSNG. Need I say more?

I have a pretty solid game, even though I just click buttons.

Ya I imagine it will take at least a week or 2 to get enough players but leroy will draw the line.
04-03-2012 , 06:17 PM
I'll let you know once a date have been set.

Schedule to start is flexible . With bf , I am thinking it may be tough to get all the players we need , but we will begin when we get enough players . I am hoping to have cards in the air by the third week of this month .

Queen6 , you are more than welcome to join .

IN. Team name will be decided democratically. But I pick the choices.

Please post winrate at getting chicks, level of general alcoholism, whether or not your a try hard, and what you love most about badugi. Using this info I will draft a 2nd place HU team.

I'm in.

Here's my monthly HUSNG graph:

I mostly play cash so my sample size is pretty small. I've watched all of Phil Galfond's NLHU videos and feel like I have a good grasp on when/why to bet, giving people ranges, and I can adjust to players of different skill sets and play styles. My biggest weakness at the tables is that I scare all of the competition away, so it's hard for me to get a lot of volume.

McSkinny2012 - Stop at nothing. Together we will put an end to the competition.

Sounds like a blast!

Just a question, will the rule below still be applied? If so, what is the reasoning behind that rule? Just asking.

By the way, if it's 6 players per team (captain+5 others), wouldn't the captains receive 125% of the prize pool (5% from each of the 5 others)?

I believe its due to the time commitment. We have to organize a draft, we are responsible for making sure our teammates play their matches as well as deciding what to do in conflicting situations. Choosing the matchups etc.

With that said, we usually just throw it back into the prizepool. Or award a prize at the end of the tourny for certain things. Most improved etc...
