So I heard people use huds sometimes. Is it worth buying poker tracker? I've never used a hud but I still do ok without a hud anyway. I just heard it can help you improve.
OP, to expand a bit on what I said, you don't have to have a HUD to win but it makes your life easier and exponentially easier if you multitable. Plus, the HUD is only half the story, the ability to review and analyse your hands is extremely useful. The difference it makes to your win rate makes it cost effective for a grinder even at the lowest stakes.
If you are going to spend any meaningful amount of time playing poker whatsoever, you will appreciate PokerTracker and/or HEM--even if you never use a HUD. There is tremendous value in having access to a database of the hands you have played, organized so that you can replay hands, analyze graphs and statistics, and track your financial results.
In addition to that, tracking software enables HUDs which are also useful.
To answer your question, yes, practically everyone uses a HUD.
