Is the subtext of this post "I made a mess when I dealt the cards and everyone laughed at me. Make it stop!"?
If so, I sort of feel your pain. When I played my first ever live game in a pub a couple of weeks ago, I was more nervous shuffling and dealing than when I was making a semi-bluff. While shuffling, half the cards spilled out on to the table. So embarrassing!
All you can do is practice at home. Get comfortable handling the cards. You don't need to learn how to do a fancy shuffle. Just do something simple and boring, so no one notices when you put a pair of aces up your sleeve.
