Do you ever have days where the pain of everything going wrong makes you numb and you want to scream, but you cant because your throat cannot produce anymore sound after screaming and yelling for hours, after you have thrown things into the wall because your pocket JJ or QQ get out flopped with an Ace, or when you have QQ and the donk with 88 hits trips on the flop to take ur whole stack, or when everytime you raise with AJ+ you flop nothing, and nobody ever folds to your c bet and you keep losing and losing and losing until your down a whole lot of buy ins and you keep thinking now I will hit my set, my luck will turn around, and when you do finally get that AA or you hit your set, you don't get paid off a cent and you slip into a dark place where nothing matters anymore and you feel as if though ur the worst player alive, even though you haven't hit as much as top pair in the last hour, and you feel the gut wrenching pain in your stomach when you realize that your hard earned money form previous sessions is just disappearing at the speed of light, as if it never existed?

That's how I feel after tonight, contemplating my existence and wondering if life is worth living.

Mate if your poker results make you contemplate the value of your life then you need to be working on your life. Even if poker is your job it shouldn't be the most important thing in your life. Step back and get some perspective.

The days when I run good I know my opponent is thinking "THATS RIGHT, OF COURSE HE HAS THE ACE!!".. It makes me take these days where everything seems to go wrong a bit better. When you're winning, you're upsetting someone elses day :P.
