Probably too wasted/hungover to say this later, so I wish all of you a happy new year and lots of rungood!

So, the end of another year, and the beginning of another.

Here is my 2013 graph (up $556 after bonuses etc):

This year was basically trying to make it stick at 25nl once I got enough BIs together, but as the following shows, that didn't happen

Got there easy enough playing normal tables of 10nl mainly after I quit Zoom earlier in the year, but basically just moved up, lost, then moved down again. Ended December just grinding a load of hands out at 10nl Zoom to make the next $50 VPP reward.

So, onwards and upwards for next year. Got about $900 in the roll so 25nl here I come.

Good luck in 2014 everyone!

@tankz that's quite a big 3b, plus he's not going to call with a huge range when you 3b that big and he's in UTG when you reraise from MP

games are goooooood. 16nl is pretty fun imo.

couple of quick line checks, seems alright?

Live is much much easier, a lot more bad players. Only problem is downswing can still last 30k hands or whatever and that could translate to months.

Very fishy games today and ran hotter than an asteroid. Nice end for this year

Had to play my longest session to date today to unlock this which also turned out to be the most profitable cash session I've played in a day.

Day

Had a lot of interesting hands, will review and post them later along with yearly graph, off to sleep now.

December results:

Very happy of this month. Found a great site to play on. Watched some videos about 10nl gameplay and started to open a lot more from CO/BTN. Not going back to the 16/14 days! I put more thought into my cbetting game and countering bluffs/floating. I lost a ton of money in zoom/speed, somehow didn't manage to win there at all. Overall very happy to find out that i'm able to play 10nl profitably.

It sounds like you're conflating two different concepts. Firstly, when someone says '3b or fold pre', they normally mean 'you're going to lose money ITLR playing this hand for a call', thus violating the objective of poker. Secondly, when someone says 'you should/shouldn't 3b this hand', they tend to mean it's a good/not a good hand to include in one's 3b range - this might be because hands which play profitably for a call shouldn't be turned into a bluff esp. PF because we have plenty of 'bluff' hands in our 100% range, because a 'bluff' is simply too bad of a hand and there are enough hands which don't suck quite so much against a c-range, or because a hand is a clear 3b for value.

Pretty good month, not the best volume but I played well and ran pretty well. Looking forward to 2014, might try for supernova at nl50+, although I do love 888.

When is this objectively the case though? What scenario makes folding out the hands we beat better than leaving them in someone's range?

i made this through pure rage of online at the time, but i have defo become lazier in work ethic with online. I don't post hands/review etc.
I still play SSNL. For me poker is a short term thing, i had a disappointing year online wise so i don't really want to be sitting around grinding out a small amount when i can go grind live and make tons of money and get out in ~2years time.

Anyways, happy new year!
