Dealing with home game losses Dealing with home game losses

Hi,

I've been playing in a home game (NLHE tournament) now for about 2.5 years. I've probably come in first place maybe 4 or 5 times, and I play about 2 times per month. I admit that I'm not a very good player, but out of the 15 or so people that play on a regular basis (weekly), there's always the same 1 or 2 guys that come in first place 1 to 2 times per month, and have been for many years. They just always win, even if they're never the chip leader for the most of the game, and they are constantly short-stacked.

How do you guys deal with people who are always winning, especially when you don't think they play a necessarily superior strategy?

Thanks.

They'll probably tell you that you should post this in the "Home Poker" discussion. Otherwise they'll yell at you.

I think the answer is to rethink your last statement....
