Anyone have a good one? For me, i have a few tags on players like

yellow - tight

green - fishy

blue - solid

red - laggy reg

orange - maniac

What other ones are good? I know one that would be good would be something like calling station etc. But anyone have a list and colors of a good one to use in modern day nowadays?

Tight, tighter, fish, pre-raiser (and a lesser pre-raiser, and when no colour for these then it is in notes under the aggro colour), post-flop aggro (and a lesser post-flop aggro), mixed (when a weaker player), good, passive (the old man type or more passive).

JNandez (PLO coach) has a similar system (this is very intuitive with experience, so they tend to be similar) and it is also more interested of preflop tendencies but also some post-flop tendencies are included.

I might put a pre-colour based on countries or a group of countries and it would be nice if that could be done automatically when no stats are yet indicative.

I also colour code the HUD stats but I have them as constant colours (makes spotting them faster) and I don't have as many stats on my HUD as that coach has and I saw someone using pretty much mine but can't remember who but I suspect it was that coach somewhere.

-Hands, preraise or open raise, 3b, f3b, 4b, and the line below that is cbet, donk, cr (vs. preraiser), name, total hands. I have no need for the other stats.

The colours are whatever one picks them to be.

The written notes could be specific (the street letter starting the comment) or just a one-liner for multitabling purposes, commenting on the colour possibly.

When I play tournaments, I colour code the whole table green and write the note "Fish?" for every player. After 5 minutes, I remove the question marks.

Any other notes? I would like a set of like 10 notes so i could do some tagging. Thus the more obvious are

rock
loose reg
good tag
fish
maniac
calling station

You don't need to color code for tournaments. You just need to accumulate chips and win flips. Fortunately the second best way to accumulate chips is winning flips.

The best way of accumulating chips is to run good. Whether your behind and hit or get it in when you have AA against QQ or play more laggy and hit your two pair, straights, flushes and win huge pots.

I tend to give bad players (fish etc.) a flashy color. It brings my focus to them iso to better players.

Tags I use:
- Fun Player (When I'm sure it's not a reg, until I can narrow their style down to one of the other tags)
- Station Fish
- Fit or Fold Fish
- Station Nit
- Fit or Fold Nit
- Nitty Reg
- Bad Reg
- Good Reg
- Aggro Fish
- Whale

Stop light

Red
Yellow
Green

Too much reliance on colors or icons leads to auto-play. I guess if you are playing a bazillion tables at a time...sure, become robotic. But robots only do what they are told and have no flexibility to change as the situation changes. GL
