Sorry for the long post, not sure if that's common here.

SB opens 3.5bb, BB calls.

Flop comes Td4d3c

OOP checks, IP checks.

Turn comes Td4d3c7s

Apparently, OOP is only betting decent hands here, no airball type hands. Betting hands are anything with a 5 or 6, things like J9, J8. Overpairs are checking.

1. Is the reason for only betting decent hands (no trash bluffs without straight potential) because the board is so coordinated. Meaning, it's very likely many of IP hands will be decent enough to continue? Can I extrapolate the same idea to any generally coordinated board texture?

2. Why are overpairs checking so often here? Is it because they want to be bet by some straight draw? Can I extrapolate from that that when we have overpairs on a coordinated board, we want to do a lot of checking in hopes that Villain will bet their draws? Or are we checking here because we're afraid of straights getting there? The latter doesn't make any sense to me.

OOP bets 3/4 pot, IP calls.

River comes Td4d3c7s7c

OOP checks, IP overbets 1.5x pot, OOP shoves.

The question is "what should IP do with trips?" and what are OOP bluffing hands?

For OOP bluffing hands, we really want to have an Ace. IP is going to call a check-raise shove with A7 very often. So, having an Ace in our hand blocks him from the trip combos that will often call. We don't want to have things like A5, A6, A8, A9 because we want IP to have those trips combos. IP's 97, 87, 75, 76 are good hands to bet after OOP checks because they block the straight draws and obviously you have trips. But these hands aren't always strong enough to call a check-raise shove.

So, it's imperative that we have an Ace in our bluff and we really don't want to have Ax where x is anything that's blocking IP's 7x straight draw combos. Something like AT is specifically good.

1. Is this relationship between trips and holding an Ace common? When trips are available, do we often want to be holding an Ace in our bluffs to avoid getting called by xxA trips?

2. What general principles can I get from the unblocking portion of the Ax bluff candidates?

Sorry if this was frustratingly long to read and please forgive any errors and ask for clarification. I'm not used to writing down poker action online, so this is the first analysis I've done. Probably some typos, errors, and weird phrasing.

Any help would be welcome.

At least try to give a proper hand history. We have no idea if this full ring or 6 max where everyone has passed (or there's limpers in front which you haven't mentioned), or whether this is heads up (which I would always argue is outside of the score of beginners questions), you don't give stacks, you don't say whether the video implies any reads. You make a decent enough post but there's so much missing information

I'll edit the post, but it's 6 max (4 sitting at the table). BvB. I said that SB opened, so there's no other action. I would have mentioned limpers if there were any. 100BB each. Video implies no reads.
