Right now i'm "up" to 28$ after 7k hands, but it's only because 2NL is full of complete droolers that just willingly give their stacks away. If this was 10NL i'd be 20 buyings down or something. Basically I cannot win a pot if it's larger than 50 cents, no matter what. I guess it's good for tilt control training .

20$ -> 28$
28$ -> 96$

Been a while since I've posted, now I'm done with 2NL. Tilt control was by far the most important thing here, not much else to say really. Will take 3 buyin shot at 5NL now, lets hope it goes well.

Well, didn't think villain had this on the button. He didn't raise, but then again, his stats were like 48/4.

Thought I'd shove on the turn. Bad judgment or right play?

Edit: Bet-sizing was rather horrible on hand 2 coming to think of it, but villain made a pot sized bet, so I didn't think he had a straight. Otherwise he would have tried value betting. I thought he was either trying to steal with a bluff (thinking I missed) or hit a small part of it.

Another bad poker day for me. I don't think I was ever up today. Played about 4k hands and i'm down about 3 buy-ins so it's not awful just frustrating. I was really putting in the volume multi-tabling to try get dealt into a milestone hand (more about this in a second) I couldn't find my form of yesterday and was getting outdrawn and making a few bad calls as I kind of mis-read my hand due to multi-tabling. Just decided to buy the $50 bonus too.

Here's the real beat. I logged on to stars tonight and fired up a bunch of tables and I was waiting to be dealt into bb as usual rather than just posting. I was watching the milestone hand countdown and it popped up with the table name. I double clicked it and it was my table. SWEET! I then realised I hadn't posted a blind at the table and as a result I wasn't going to be dealt into the hand. FML I know I run bad a lot but that's just taking the piss. I'd rather I wasn't at the table at all. Anyway, the winner scooped $500 - not sure what i'd have got but it'd have really been nice to get something. I felt it was a bad omen but I decided to play a session and dropped 2 buy-ins at the end of it all. Now too tired to play in a profitable way as i've definitely missed a few value bets as a result of being tired and multi-tabling so i'll have to leave it till tomorrow.

Taking a break right now to let the tilt wear off.... dropped 2 BI in 200 hands. I really need to stop getting it in in spots where I'm never ahead...my winrate could easily be 10x more than it is now if I stopped doing this ****:

What a brilliant day, here's my new graph (all 4nl):

I also came second (and was one card off winning) in a 75 man $2 MTT that I entered on a whim.

Bankroll went from $30 - $65. Also 15% off clearing my $17 bonus.

I can't figure out how to get a graph that combines total cash and tourney winnings on Poker Office, so that tournament windfall isn't on that graph.

Took a month off after tilting half my bankroll off at 5NL and I was left at ~$70, and wasnt sure what to because I refuse to play 2NL, its way to frusterating...

Anyways, friend roped me into my first live cash casino trip, got there late and only played 3 hours of 1/2 NL, but profited a cool $277 !

So I figured, BOOMSWITCH right? Well I have now made $39 in the last two days, and I feel great, the break was the best thing I could have ever done.

BR= $109

wheeee for 1 outers, Although I did deserve it, dude just sucked out on me to river a boat over my turned straight

lol short stacking 5nl but refuses to play 2nl.

Just seen a 50billion hand thing on Stars. It was at a 50nl HU table where one guy had $10. He lost the hand and won $760, while the guy who won actually made $1.5k. It was funny bc Stars mod paused the game to let them know what was going on before and after the hand, and the guy with $10 was asking the mod how he can turn his vpps into $. then they tell him he's getting $760 and he goes "Holy ****" and someone calls a mod on him lols

i still dont get these milestone hands on stars?
09-22-2010 , 02:21 AM
ehh, im glad stars gave me $170 today but god damn what a horrible dat at 5nl grrr, down 5 buy ins im basically losing everytime my stack go in, in this 2k hand session for the 1st 2k hands i ran into a guy who called with ace-9 and hits a full house and i have aq and i hit my queen on the turn and get practically stacked by the river, kk vs AA 2x, qq vs short stacker n lose obviously, aj vs a limp minj raise and i hit top pair and guy has aces i lost like 70bb there the guy didnt raise anypoint postflop either... ehh & every time i hit trips the board is all spades or diamonds and the 4th diamond/spade hits the turn so i either fold or it goes check check and i miss 2 streets of value argg!!... this is going to kill my winrate lost $27 total today man im hoping this is a 1 day thing cause i cant afford days like this back to back to back grr

bankroll: $590

How many VPPs do you guys make at 5/10NL per day or #hands?
I wanna get the 6th VIP bonus (the first $50) before the end of this year, since it's when everything resets and it's only a 1k VPP jump from the last level, compared to the next $50 bonus which is a 5k jump.

I'm currently only on the 3rd bonus, and I play about 6-8 tables at 5NL for around 2-3 hours, and I clear about 50-70 VPPs a day.
09-22-2010 , 03:00 AM
sold T$10 for $9,50 so bankroll now to $600 flat, still down $27.50 for the day in just 4k hands at 5nl though so horrible... please dont let me run horrible the rest of the week poker gods!!
09-22-2010 , 03:01 AM
dalimit are you playing full ring or 6max?.. for full ring 5nl is about 30-40 vpp per 1k hands, 10nl is around 60-70 per 1k hands
09-22-2010 , 03:08 AM
FPP Pro used to be a good site to get numbers but i don't know if its been updated lately.

I always buy in for $5, but I was always buy in for more manually, so ya, didnt click fast enough with 6 tables running, for shame. But ya even with $70 I was buying in for 100BB, and with 6 tables that meant I had 6 of 14 BI's on the table lol.

I ran so bad today. Tried to crush a fish and he had AA. Shortstacker outflipped me. Dropped 1.5 buy-ins and I'm surprised I didn't lose more.

Going to go to bed early so I can wake up early and try to hit 50 billion. Nothing to lose except sleep so I might as well try.

Sweet! You got 61BIs for 10NL now. You can take like a 20BI shot, lol.

I've been running ridiculous hot at 25NL since Saturday. I'm up 9BIs after 2k hands. With rakeback and bonuses the br is at $840. Things are looking good from here on out.

Stars is dealing its 50 billionth hand a few hours from now so they are giving out bonuses every millionth hand from 49.7 billion to 50 billion.

And I saw what happened to you Masq. That really sucks.

I've been earning anywhere from 25 to 50 VPP per 1000 hands at NL5 full ring. Seems that the average is around 35 though.

I pretty much have the same goal as you, and am currently at the same spot. Good luck.

thats ok 10nl can wait, i may even drop down to 2nl if i have 2-3 losing sessions at 5nl ....losing every all in except for 1 in 4k hands is pretty brutal and everytime you flop a big hand the turn is just horrible, seirously if wednesday and thursday is like this im dropping to 2nl with a $500+ bankroll hahah
