I like Damon, but I think Granderson will be just fine. I think he has a little more power than Damon.

Ha the 9ers? I picked them to win their division last season because I thought that defense was stacked. Hopefully the Bills can draft Dez Bryant, we need another WR after letting T.O. and Josh Reed go.

Yes, the Lakers should be healthy and playing better come playoff time. They played well yesterday, Kobe had a terrible shooting game, but was dishing the ball well and played great D. I just need to see Gasol/Bynum/Odom step up and it's over. I'd rather see 'em play Boston in the Finals, rather than Cleveland. When Bos/L.A. play it's always a good game. But i doubt they can get by Orlando or Cleveland, heck I'd take Atlanta to knock off Boston, they've had their number for a while now.

Red Sox love needs to be ITT.

Also, KU is winning the national championship regardless of the loss to OKST, F the haters

Watching KU is like watching the Spurs play...zzZzzzZZzzz Don't get me wrong, they have a great guard, but Cole Aldridge is M.I.A on the offensive side, and Xavier Henry is consistently inconsistent.

I'd really hate to see them make the Championship game, it will drive away so many people (like myself) who occasionally watch college basketball. We like to see exciting games, with great players or "Fun to watch teams." I really only like to watch the top teams play, or teams with future NBA'ers.

Remember when Detroit played San Antonio in the NBA Finals like 6/7 years ago? No one watched it, both teams were boring, and played grind it out basketball. Same thing with Kansas!

Read the book kill everyone if your going to get into 18s/45s and larger. I never played 6max sng and am looking for some good strat links if you know of any.

Ice, I'm from Buffalo. It's funny how Miller won the MVP of the tourny and his team lost. I wonder how often that happens? I know it rarely happens in the Super Bowl, or World Series, and I believe it only happened once in the NBA Finals when Jerry West won MVP but the Lakers lost.

I don't pay to much attention to the Sabres, and haven't watched a game in years, since they were in the Eastern Finals a cpl years back.

Miller was a beast all tournament.. just as he's been all season... and I don't think anyone else in the tournament came close to earning mvp. I wish their gm would do something in the next few days before the trade deadline on wednesday to improve the team so that miller doesn't have to keep carrying them, but that's pretty doubtful.

lol.. well, with 3 tables it's pretty easy to keep track of everything.. and I won 1/3 of a buyin pretty quick on 2 tables and a full buyin a bit later on the other while pretty much just folding.. so I know it went well.. and if it didn't.. well I know i still played well.

Erm...don't really have any. My knowledge of Stt's come from Collin Moshmans book and reading the Stt section..6 max games are pretty similar to 9 mans. They don't realy differ at all imo concerning hand selection. Don't really know why i prefer them.

Hand selection etc is just the same for me. Play tight etc early on loosen up as the blinds go up. Steal, re-steal, push, shove around the bubble. Floating the flop is also a weapon I use on dry flops in mid to high blind play. Only against the correct player though.

I was prepared to take this advice, but couldn't find and decent 2nl tables so I ended up just 2 tabling 5nl.

I was pleased I did, ended up with +$11 profit . I think I'm going to continue to do this for a while. Played some solid poker, and I'm starting to feel much more confident. I do think that I can be a winning player at this level, I've just had some terrible luck and was stacking off light initially.

how long can one of those typically last when you win?

To take one down I think is around 3 hoursish? I only played a couple but I think the one I won took about that.

I've found it typically breaks down like this:

2 hours-ish to cash (18)
another hour-ish to hit the ft (9)
another hour-ish to go from 9 down to anywhere from 3 handed to the end.

The shortest one to the end I've played is about 3 hours and 45min.. the longest being about 4 hours 30 min... but that was about 30 min of hu play.

Ran bad for a while and dropped under $100...then fluked a win after a tilt-motivated entry to a sup turbo 45man.

BR: $155

5? Five? Who? Because Collison is the only one who can play pro ball. Aldridge is way to slow and has no offensive game, so he'd only be a liability in the NBA. Actually I'm not even sure his defense is going to be enough to play there, his advantage right now is his height an weight, at the NBA level, all the guys in the front court have that size.

Morningstar won't even make the D-League, so I know you're not speaking about him. I do think Xavier Henry could play pro ball after another year or two in college. Just to polish things up a little more, like his jump shot from outside of 20 ft. and his ability to penetrate and draw defenders. Consistency is something he's going to pick up in his next season.

I hate how players 'Have' to play one season in the NCAA before they can go pro. It ruined college ball when they made that rule, they should either make it 2 years or have no rule at all. It's watered down the NBA, and there's to many young players who suck there now.

Interesting.
I will prob play a few and just play as if 3 players have been eliminated.

Thanks for the feedback.
