just a cooler. but for future i would bet the flop here, you want to build a big pot and get it all in with a big hand like you had.

Started around $130 and I've been kicking some butt on the few tourney's I've been able to play.

Keep it fun and the rest is easy.

Nice recovery from my last session. Around 500 hands and up more than 4 BI at one point, gave a little bit back trying to stack a fish who had NO idea how to play. Table was insane with people trying 3bet iso the poor guy cause he was calling with ATC. Glad to break the 100 mark. Next big goal is 10nl.

6 max is so much fun, dont think ill be going back to FR any time soon
06-24-2010 , 12:07 PM
FR is crap yet I have a huge urge to go up to Borgata to play 1/2. But yea I lasted all of one day of playing FR cash online. That was just cause I hadn't found the 6max tables. It just made more sense for me from the get go. Folding is lame and people take too long

Played 10 $1.20 STT's and finished in the money 6 times. ROI = 33%. Played in two $2.20 sattys and won one. Played very well on the bubble in that one. Played around 20 hands on the bubble where I was hovering around 5BB's the entire time. Shoved several times and either got folds or had the best hand. Finally climbed up off the bubble near the end and into the money!

-$2.20 Lost a DoN which I opened at Cake because I was a bored. OMG, that was the slowest, most boring game I have ever played. I was glad to get out of it.

Think I will cash out of Cake - if anyone wants $50.88 on Cake for $50 on Stars or FTP let me know. Going to post in the Transfer thread also............

Down 20 BI's over the last couple of days. Running pretty bad and every single one of my sets or TP + wraps ends up getting runner-runner'd.

I think I need to give up poker for the time being. I'm bored/frustrated by the button mashing that goes on here in PLO2/NL2. It's good to play with fish sure, but when you're seeing flops 4 ways in PLO it's hard to know when you can bet an overpair or something for value.

Then of course you fold, watch the money go in, and the people had like, 1 pair vs. a gutshot or something which you would've held against. F microstakes poker IMO.

Losing 20 BIs at PLO2 or 2NL sounds like a lot more then variance.

Hands run bigger in plo and you need more than an overpair to start betting for value in a multi-way pot.

I've had a small sample size but I've always been able to make decent profits there. I turned $16 to $80 then cashed it out, before that $20 into $170. Now I've been depositing $15-$20 and just losing it so.

Work on buliding your bankroll from the one you are most successful. Then with profit money dabble in the others if you desire.

So I've been working all week but have been working on getting a nice routine of exercise, shower, poker, sleep going. So far it's worked out as it allows me to at least get in a small amount of hands and keep progress moving.

Played "blah" last night. 12 SnG's, 5 ITM. 1 win. Lost in a $2.20 satty because I'm an idiot and spewed on a mediocre hand. Not sure why I got so stupid all of a sudden. Ah well. Still had some fun and only ended up -$4 on the night.

Tough to do. I'm in the same boat. Sleep is losing the battle, though, so far.

Exact same problem here. Having a roommate who wakes up right as I'm trying to go to sleep (I work graveyard) and plays metal with his subwoofer against our shared wall doesn't help either. Life tilt

Yeah I started at 9.15 hoping to be done by 10.00 but wasn't so just started shoving rather than playing it a bit more cautioulsy. The third game that would've turned a lil profit I went out on 88<ATo to a turned T.

And just realised the fee was 15c not 10c!

I just prefer to play something like this when either I'm not in the mood to play cash, or just want to pass the time while the gf is watching some dross on TV.

Very weak. I worked this roofing job from 2007-2008 (about 18 months) and only slept 3 hours a night during the week, and only 8 hrs a night on weekends. You guys are to young to worry about sleep
