I know that when playing only 1 table of NLHE i need around 20BIs for a proper BR.
But when playing 5+ tables how should my BRM be? Ive heard at least 8BIs per table?
Also one more question, is there really many ppl playing 2-6 tables professionally, or does most pros simply just mass tabling 12+ tables?
Im playing at a site where 5 tables is maximum but i think i can play more than that, im playing 5 tables 15NL atm. Should i switch site to be able to play ~12 tables instead or should i keep playing 5 so i can get better as a player and when i have moved up at higher stakes try to add more tbls?
Your bankroll should be inversely proportional to your win rate. So, if you could keep your win rate the same as you add tables, 20 BI would be plenty (assuming it is a correct BRM in your case for one table). In practice, you want to add a few BI per tables but not that many - 8 BI seem a lot to me.
I don't know where this 8 BI per table rule comes from but it makes absolutely no sense as a BRM rule.
