When teaching strategy, if someone just says "small stakes," how do you know if the strategy being taught is limit, pot limit, no limit, etc., or does it not matter what type of limit the game is for the strategy to work, as long as you don't expect the strategy to work for medium or high stakes?

I didn't know what the definition of 'small stakes' was, but decided after reaching page 78 that it is <$10-20.

At the top of that page, it just says, "These recommendations assume a typical ten-handed, small stakes game."

The recommendations it is referring to are pp. 80-83. I'm sure no one would want to memorize all that, then either sit down at the wrong type of game, or find that casinos no longer offer that type of game.

That’s a fixed limit book. I wouldn’t recommend it for stakes above 8/16.

Yeah, that's a limit book. I would have thought that would be obvious if you'd read it

It is like the guy that is at a 2/4 flhe table for 30 minutes and then tries to raise to 20 preflop. Except with print.
