Bonus/raked hands at Party Bonus/raked hands at Party

Hi!

I'm thinking about trying to get a small bonus at Party but first I want to make sure I understand what I'm doing.

On the site it says a raked hand is a hand where I was dealt cards and one cent of rake was generated by me. This is calculated by dividing the rake of the hand by the number of players that were dealt cards.

Since the rake is one cent for each twenty cents in the pot at 5c/10c it would mean the pot would have to reach $2 for ten players for it to be considered raked hand.

To clear the bonus I will have to play six times the amount in raked hands to clear the bonus.

So if I understand this correctly this is what happens:

I deposit $50 and get a $10 bonus.
To clear it I will have to play sixty raked hands, be dealt cards in sixty hands with a pot of $2 or more.
Since the pot seems to reach $2 ten to fifteen percent of the time I will have to play about 500-600 hands, raked or not, to get my $10.

Oh, and what's the time frame for clearing a bonus at Party? And do they realease the bonus little by little or in one chunk?

Another thing I don't really get after reading about it on the site is how I earn PartyPoints. It says 1.25 PP for my blind level. What does it mean, 1.25 per what? The PPs come in very slowly so I'm wondering.

Thanks in advance.

As long as you are dealt in for the hand you get points if the pot is raked. (the hand counts as 1 of the 20 hands for points according to your level of play)

No. The pot has to reach $0.20, party then takes $0.01 in rake and the hand counts towards your raked hands as long as you were dealt in.

Is the bonus 20% and you have to play to get 6x points of the bonus ammount? If so, you have to accoure 60 points. Every 20 raked hand you get 1.25 points. This means you have to play 960 raked hands (60/1.25 * 20 = 960).

The time frame varies I think, mine was 7 days, others I have seen up to 2 weeks. The bonus releases in one big chunk AFAIK.

Every hand the pot is raked and you were dealt cards counts towards the 20 hands. You need 20 raked hands to get the 1.25 points based on your level.

I think Party bonuses are the easiest bonuses to clear I've ever encountered so you should have no problem with that at all.

On the flip-side their PartyPoints system is pretty poor in terms of the value you end up getting from it.

If you play .05/.10 nl at party its considered a raked hand every time you see a flop. The only problem is that the bonuses are not usually "raked hands" any more, you'll need to get 6X Party Points for every dollar which a significantly larger amount of hands then 60 even for a $10 bonus

At 1.25 points per 20, 100 raked hands = 5pp, so for a $10 bonus you'd have to play over 1000 raked hands. Not as good as it used to be but at least its a little something if your playing there anyways.

(edit: if it really is raked hands deposit for the max, and I'm jealous)

100/20 =5
5*1.25 = 6.25

So 6,25 pp \ 100 raked hands.

Thank you for the replies.
Seems I was wrong about everything.
Well, I did the deposit of $50 and now I'm clearing it faster than I thought I would.
