I haven't played NL other than MTT's and SNGs in about 2 years. I play mostly PLO cash so I thought BF may be the best spot to get some advice.

I am going to be grinding out this long weekend in Niagara Falls (Canadian Eh?)

I am looking for some advice in terms of your standard 1/2 NL and 2/5 NL donks. What type of strategy should I be employing? Strict ABC Tag Poker?

I am sure this has been discussed to death but I haven't played NL Cash in so long that I kinda forget some of the stuff lol. PLO has made my NL game a bit too tight so what type of ranges should I be opening UTG to MP positions I obviously know the standard openings in later positions but the way casino poker plays, it's very similar to 10-25NL online.

This is all Full Ring obviously since there is no 6-max casino poker and I only play 6-max online.

I am trying to profit here lol.

My live roll is around 2.5k and I usually shortstack the 1/2 games ($100-$150 ldo) unless a huge whale is sitting really deep then I would BI Full.

I am going to be playing 2 days of 200NL and I hope by Day 3 that I have a big enough roll to martingale my way to the 2/5 NL games.

Thanks but I am not ******ed. I just haven't played NLHE in 2 years but I still play Poker (MTTs, SNGs, PLO Cash).

So why ask for general advice in the forum then? just play your game, enjoy yourself and have fun

theres no magic combination that will help you instantly win to be gained from the forum, if there was, then we'd all be millionaires

Both the casinos in NF are nice, though i havent played at either myself in a few years. but typically for 200NL live you can play an ABC TAG game and do ok. But don't be afraid to mix it up a bit if you plan on being there all weekend, you dont want to become too predictable to the regs there. But as it is a big tourist town there will be a few people on each table gabling it up as wall and having fun.

start to straddle, gamble stupid in some small spots at the beginning, push all in blind on blind and show a **** hand and than move to abc and you will get massive payouts^

UTG/UTG+1: AA-88, AK-AJs, AK-AQo
MP: Above range+ 77,66, AT-A8s, AJ-ATo, KQs
LP: Above range+ 55-22, Any Ace, decent Ks, suited connectors 45+, unsuited connectors 78+, suited gappers 57+

He didn't say you would bust because he thought you sucked at poker. I believe he was thinking you would bust because of aggressive/lack of BRM.

Yeah, Martingale has no advantages over any other betting pattern. Exponential increases in bet placed along with variance will cause fast busting.
