When some stakes a player and buys a percentage, say 15% of the buyin, when the player cashes does he pay 15% of the total prize money received? Or 15% of the profit? In otherwards is the buyin subtracted? I'm assuming that it is included but I wanted to double check on here.

It's usually a % of the overall prize money. I would be very surprised to see anyone doing it the other way.

If someone buys a 15% piece of you, they get 15% of the entire BR left at the end, so yea, 15% of total prize money rec'd
