I've been reading in the forums that on of the things a lot of people regrets when they started in the world of poker online was not getting rakeback, specially in ftp. Well, I did this too. I now play on stars and have a few questions.
Can I have rakeback on ftp if I haven't deposited yet (I already have an account, which I haven't used for half a year) or I'm I screwed?
If you are one of those guys who regret not getting rakeback at ftp at the beginning, in what site or sites do you play now, which one do you recommend?
Can one go pro without rakeback at fulltilt?

IF you did not sign up through an affiliate, then you can ask rakebackpros.com if you can get rakeback through them. I got it.

This, but I think it's hit or miss.

I've been trying to get rakeback from FTP since about late July to no avail. I've never deposited on FTP, but I transferred money to a friend on Pokerstars and he paid me back by transferring money to me on FTP. So, naturally, I've played many real money games on FTP. I'm a bit obsessive with BRM, so I hope to never have to worry about having to re-infuse my funds. (This is the case with PS.) However, because of this, I wonder if I'll ever be accepted for rakeback. I sent another inquiry to RakeBackPros.com in November. They rejected me outright, so I sent another letter to FTP. This is the reply I got...

"Thanks for getting back in touch with us about rakeback.

Although Full Tilt Poker does not offer rakeback directly to players, our preferred affiliate partner RakeBackPros.com offers rakeback to players who sign up through their website with Full Tilt Poker.
However, since you did not sign up through this affiliate when you created your account, you were unable to recieve rakeback.

As there has been an increase in requests from players that already have an account on Full Tilt Poker for rakeback, we have organized a deal with our affiliate to refer these players upon request.

We expect that you will hear from our preferred affiliate partner, RakeBackPros.com. We have sent your player details to RakeBackPros.com and they will be in direct contact with you.

However, we kindly ask you to be patient, as we know that this is not an instant issue.

Let us know if you have any questions,

Regards,

Full Tilt Poker Support"

Patient I'll be, as my only option now is to stay away from FTP until I'm offered rakeback. Just not worth it. Their loss, not mine. Hope you have better luck!
