Hello,

i read advices about bankrollmanagement.

To use in PLO cashgames for example 70 buy ins. And then to drop down a stake if one goes down to 50 buyinns after losses.

But is this the same as playing with 20 buy inn untill thats is lost. And then start with 20 bis on a lower stake?

And how do people get to these numbers?
Is it based on the same odds-calculation that is used to determine the value of a hand? The poker odds calculator?? Or is it bsed on only exprience by people that play bigvolume?

its just more of a rule of thumb .. PLO has higher variance than NLHE so more buy ins are recommended to maintain proper brm.. if im grinding plo i try to keep 30-40 bi's per stake level myself but you seem to have the right idea anyways
