Well, this seems like the month it all started to come together. Visualising ranges better so getting confident reads and making better decisions. Getting a better grip on 'population tendencies' on unknowns at 2nl Snap and have extensive notes on regulars of which many have very exploitable leaks in their game.
Deposited another $50 (with a decent $15 bonus) about two weeks ago as don't want to hang around at 2nl too much longer. Saying that another month to iron out some more leaks that I still obviously have would be useful, then its a one way ticket to 5nl Snap in May (unless I hit horrible confidence sapping variance this month).
No targets, just play as many hands as possible well as possible.
GL in April everyone.

River:(13.5 BB, 2 players) K
BB bets 252.5 BB and is all-in, fold
BB wins 13 BB
This full house is no good when he shoves 250BB into a 13BB pot, right? But it broke my heart to fold it too because I've got a full house...plus I checked flop so he might go crazy with a strong Ax or 77? And he can't have AA/KK.
But pot is tiny, clearly he's never bluffing here. Felt like it's A7/A9/AK too much...thoughts?
Play 20,000 hands - close but only 18,443

Review - PLO5z was frustrating this month, ran bad and got rivered by fish a ton. However, I still booked a win of +13.5 buyins so can't complain too much.
Had some success in MTT's as I finished 2nd in two small field Omaha tourneys for a bankroll boost of $800+

Crush so I can move up to PLO10z in May
Workout 3 times a week
You can't use a HUD though at SNAP (you can track hands though) so I work hard to make sure I have the Stats on people in the pool....it takes about 10K hands for the hard work to kick in but then you can abuse those who check raise 80% OTF or foldto3betPF 100% etc.....
6-max results were brilliant. Quality of my play dropped after I started losing in HU. But I once again realized that simplicity is the key. Keep it simple!
HU results. Ran bad, played poorly. At least I learned new things.
Was chasing a calling station fish at 400nl, who was quite competent player. Nothing you can do about these losses, move on.
Goals for April:
[ ] Pass all courses
[ ] Pokerstrategy Platinum
[ ] Beat 200nl
[ ] Positive thinking and motivation. I want to have a very good grinding month. Don't cry over short term losses and so on. I'm probably playing 4 months semi-professionally this summer, so this will be a trial month.
[ ] Find ways to work on my game/leaks.
Februari i played 2NL regular on party and beat it for 20bb/100 over 15k hands. That was part luck, part crushing it.
March i played 4NL zoom for -5bb/100 over 18k hands on party. That was part bad luck, part suckiness.
Ran out of bonusses and missions and cashed out.
April i wont be focussing on playing too much. Im gonna focus on theory.
*Find some online articles about preflop game, 3betting IP / OOP, polarized/ merged. 4 and 5 betting.
*Finish reading applications and start again from the beginning while making notes and reading the 2+2 thread on the book.
*Play a mere few 1000 hands 2NL on both stars and unibet for HUD and HUDless play.
How to react to 4bet BvB situation? No info on villain, new to the table.

The first half of March I was disappointed because I was break even for quite a while. The second half of March was better as I slowly began to profit again and then things took off for me towards the end of the month. I was able to move from .01/.02 up to .02/04. I also tried some .02/.04 PLO which I've been interested in. I got lucky with some run good while sitting with some fish. Within 15 min I had 6 BIs. Then I played some heads up and beat the guy for a couple of BIs.
March definitely boosted my confidence. Not too long ago I was posting here asking for advice as I was a losing player. I've only played about 23k hands after restarting but I'm currently winning for 13.6bb/100 and I'm above rake by a couple of bucks. At this rate I hope to be moving up levels relatively quickly.
Goals for April:
[] Learn more PLO
[] Concentrate more on school
[] Make better decisions in poker
[] Post more hands for review
Haven't really done this before but trying to set some goals and maybe this will make me more accountable!
Poker Goals
[] Play 20k Hands
[] Make good decisions and try not to care about results (Ha )
[] If the results do happen to be positive, take some 50NL shots
[] Finish Applications of holdem
Non Poker Goals
[] Focus on fitness, goal is to lose 12 pounds
Anyone want to review few rivers spots from today?
h1: Is it ok to call down vs ½ pot? All draws missed. He had high AF and bet river 67%, so I think it's a call especially vs ½ pot. I even had some notes that he bets pot for value.
What do you think about this graph for opening SB? Open folding would be -50bb/100
I knew that I would have to tighten up my range, but do I have to tighten up even more?
This last months graph for opening SB, I had better results in Feb & Jan for doing so.
That's a complicated board texture to read.
But you do have the nuts there. For example 44433 vs 333AA, you win.
Btw bet flop bigger vs fish, he will float really light

Yeah, should bet bigger. Turn check is fine imo, can't see any worse calling 2nd barrel. If river would come any other card I would probably fold to a bet, bad bluff catcher, BB has a lot PP in his range, right?
Let's say he is 3-betting JJ+. Then he has TT-55 in his range that beats you. That's 2.71% of the starting hands. Vs ½ pot he is going to call a wide range of overcards. So I would barrel again.
Fish will call BB with like +40% range. Unsure how much regs will call BB vs MP
